തിരുച്ചിറപ്പള്ളിയില്നിന്നു കൊച്ചി, ബെംഗളൂരു എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലേക്ക് അടുത്തമാസം മുതല് നേരിട്ടുള്ള വിമാന സര്വീസ് ആരംഭിക്കുമെന്ന് ഇന്ഡിഗോ വിമാന കമ്പനി. ജൂണ് 28 മുതലാണു കൊച്ചിയിലേക്കും ബെംഗളൂരുവിലേക്കും നേരിട്ടുള്ള സര്വീസ് ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്. 72 യാത്രക്കാരെ ഉള്ക്കൊള്ളുന്ന എടിആര് വിഭാഗത്തിലുള്ള വിമാനമാണ് ഈ റൂട്ടുകളില് സര്വീസിന് ഉപയോഗിക്കുകയെന്നും ഇന്ഡിഗോ അറിയിച്ചു.

ബെംഗളൂരുവിൽ നിന്ന് ബഹ്റൈനിലേക്ക് മേയ് ഒന്നു മുതൽ നേരിട്ട് വിമാന സർവീസ് ആരംഭിക്കുന്നു. ഗൾഫ് എയറാണ് പ്രതിദിന സർവീസ് ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്. നിലവിൽ കർണാടകയിൽ മംഗളൂരു വിമാനത്താവളത്തിൽനിന്നു മാത്രമാണ് ബഹ്റൈനിലേക്ക് നേരിട്ട് വിമാന സർവീസുള്ളത്. ഇതുവരെ ബഹ്റൈനിലേയ്ക്ക് പോകണമെങ്കില് കര്ണാടകയുടെ ഒരറ്റം വരെ യാത്രചെയ്യണമായിരുന്നു. എല്ലാ യാത്രക്കാര്ക്കും പെട്ടെന്ന് എത്തിച്ചേരാവുന്ന ബെംഗളൂരുവിൽ നിന്നും വിമാന സര്വീസ് ആരംഭിച്ചത് യാത്രക്കാര്ക്ക് വലിയൊരു ആശ്വാസമാണ്. കൊടാതെ മെട്രോ സര്വീസ് വിമാനത്താവളം വരെ നീട്ടുന്നതിനാല് ഇതും വിമാനയാത്രക്കാര്ക്ക് ഗുണം ചെയ്യും.
