Kozhikode, 22 Jan 2026:
Kerala is set to reinforce its reputation as a global hub for Ayurveda and holistic wellness with the first International Ayurveda and Wellness Conclave, to be held in Kozhikode from February 2–3. The landmark event will be inaugurated by Tourism Minister P A Mohamed Riyas at the Calicut Trade Centre.

Organised by the Department of Tourism in association with the Ayurveda Promotion Society (APS) and allied tourism and health organisations, the conclave will bring together leading Ayurveda scholars, global wellness experts, policymakers, academics, industry leaders, travel trade professionals, and international stakeholders. Designed as a high-impact platform for knowledge exchange, policy dialogue, and global collaboration, the event aims to accelerate Kerala’s emergence as the world’s most trusted destination for Ayurveda and wellness tourism.
A major highlight will be extensive B2B networking, connecting 100 Kerala-based sellers with 120 international operators, 30 Indian operators, yoga professionals, and global media representatives. Sessions on global market trends, integrating Ayurveda and yoga into wellness tourism, research and international acceptance, and medical value travel will set the tone on Day One. Day Two will feature a full-day structured B2B meet.
Following the conclave, international delegates will embark on a curated familiarisation tour across Kerala, showcasing Ayurveda resorts, wellness retreats, yoga destinations, and cultural icons—offering a holistic glimpse into the state’s unique wellness ecosystem.
