മാലിദ്വീപിന്റെയും ലക്ഷദ്വീപിന്റെയും തീരങ്ങളില് ഇന്ന് മണിക്കൂറില് 40 കി.മീ മുതല് 50 കി.മീ വരെ വേഗതയുളള കാറ്റ് വീശുവാൻ സാധ്യതയെന്ന് കാലാവസ്ഥ നിരീക്ഷണകേന്ദ്രം. തെക്കന് കേരളത്തില് ഏഴു മുതല് 11 സെന്റിമീറ്റര് വരെ മഴ പെയ്യാൻ സാധ്യതയെന്നും മുന്നറിയിപ്പുണ്ട്. അതിനാൽ മത്സ്യത്തൊഴിലാളികള് കടലില് പോകരുതെന്ന് ഫിഷറീസ് ഡപ്യൂട്ടി ഡയറക്ടര് (മേഖല) ജാഗ്രതാ നിര്ദേശം നല്കി.
