Mulanjur Bhagavathi Temple, popularly known as Mulanjur Kavu, located near Lakkidi-Perur in the Ottapalam region of Palakkad district, is a revered spiritual destination deeply rooted in Kerala’s kavu tradition. Set amidst nearly 40 acres of preserved forest land, the temple stands as a living example of harmony between faith and nature. The presiding deity, Bhagavathi, is worshipped here as a “Vana Devatha” (Forest Goddess), symbolising protection of nature, life, and the environment.
