The 13th International Tourism Mart (ITM) 2025 was held from 13 to 16 November 2025 in Gangtok, Sikkim, with wide participation from global tourism stakeholders. The event was organised by the Tourism Department, Government of Sikkim, in association with national and international tourism organisations.
Delegates from different countries, including tour operators, travel agents, hospitality professionals, and media representatives, attended the four-day Mart. The event focused on promoting sustainable tourism, international cooperation, and showcasing India’s tourism potential, with special emphasis on the Eastern Himalayan region.
The Mart featured B2B meetings, conferences, destination exhibitions, and cultural performances highlighting Sikkim’s rich heritage. Senior government officials stressed the need for responsible and community-based tourism to ensure long-term growth.
The successful hosting of ITM 2025 has strengthened Sikkim’s image as an emerging global tourism destination and created new opportunities for international tourism partnerships and business growth.
