നവിമുംബൈയിലേയും മുംബൈയിലേയും വിമാനത്താവളങ്ങളെ ബന്ധിപ്പിച്ച് നിർമിക്കുന്ന മെട്രോ ലൈനിൽ അതിവേഗത്തിൽ ട്രെയിനുകൾ ഓടും. മണിക്കൂറിൽ 90 കിലോമീറ്റർ വേഗത്തിലാകും മെട്രോ ട്രെയിന്‍ ഓടുക. നിലവിൽ മണിക്കൂറിൽ 30 കിലോമീറ്റർ വേഗത്തിലാണ് മെട്രോ സർവീസ് നടത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്. ട്രെയിനുകളുടെ വേഗത കൂട്ടുന്നതിലൂടെ ഇരു വിമാനത്താവളങ്ങളും തമ്മിലുളള ഗതാഗതം സൗകര്യപ്രദമാക്കുകയാണ് ലക്ഷ്യം. ഇതിനായി 40 കിലോമീറ്റർ ദൂരമുളള റൂട്ടിൽ അഞ്ചോ ആറോ സ്റ്റേഷനുകളിൽ മാത്രമാകും മെട്രോ നിർത്തുക. ഓരോ 15 മിനിറ്റിലും ട്രെയിന്‍ സർവീസ് നടത്തും. ഒന്നോ രണ്ടോ കിലോമീറ്റർ ഇടവിട്ടു […]
