വനിതകള്ക്കു മാത്രമായുള്ള പാനിപ്പത്ത്-ഡല്ഹി പാസഞ്ചര് ട്രെയിന് പുനരാരംഭിക്കുമെന്ന് ഹരിയാന മന്ത്രി കവിത ജയിന് അറിയിച്ചു. ഡല്ഹിയില് നിന്നു പാനിപ്പത്തിലേക്കു യാത്രചെയ്യുന്ന വനിതകള്ക്കും കുട്ടികള്ക്കും ഈ ട്രെയിന് പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുന്നതാണ്. എന്നാല് ചില കാരണങ്ങളാല് ട്രെയിന് നിര്ത്തി വെച്ചിരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. ട്രെയിന് നിര്ത്തിയതില് പ്രതിഷേധിച്ചു വനിതകളുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില് പാനിപ്പത്തു സ്റ്റേഷന് ഉപരോധിച്ചിരുന്നു. സമരത്തിനിടെ എത്തിയ ട്രെയിനും അവര് തടഞ്ഞു. റെയില് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരുമായി ചര്ച്ച ചെയ്തെന്നും ട്രെയിന് വീണ്ടും ആരംഭിക്കാനുള്ള നടപടികള് പുരോഗമിക്കുന്നതായും അവര് പറഞ്ഞു.
