Earthquake of magnitude 6.2 strikes Philippines

An earthquake of magnitude 6.2 strikes the island of Mindanao in Philippines. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage from the quake, which hit at a depth of 61 km (38 miles), about 128 km (80 miles) east of the island’s key city of Davao.
