അറുപതു വിദേശികൾ, പല രാജ്യക്കാർ . പല ഭാഷക്കാർ , പല ഭൂഖണ്ഡങ്ങളിലുള്ളവർ. യോഗയിൽ ഏറെക്കാലമായി പരിശീലനം നടത്തുന്നവരും പരിശീലിക്കുന്നവരുമാണ് അവർ. ആ അറുപതു പേരും ഒന്നിച്ച് കോവളത്ത് യോഗാ പ്രദർശനം നടത്തി. അസോസിയേഷന്‍ ഓഫ് ടൂറിസം ട്രേഡ് ഓര്‍ഗനൈസേഷന്‍സ് ഇന്ത്യ (അറ്റോയ് ) സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന യോഗ അംബാസിഡേഴ്‌സ് ടൂറില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്നവരാണ് രണ്ടാം ദിനം കോവളത്ത് യോഗ പ്രദര്‍ശനം നടത്തിയത് യോഗയുടെ ജന്മദേശത്തിനെ അറിയാനെത്തിയ യോഗികള്‍ക്ക് കോവളത്തെ പ്രഭാതം  പുതുമയായി. മഴ മാറിയ അന്തരീക്ഷം. പുലരും മുമ്പേ യോഗികൾ തീരത്തെത്തി. മഴയുടെ വരവ് അറിയിച്ച് ആകാശം മൂടിയിരുന്നു. കടൽ ശാന്തമായിരുന്നു. പ്രശാന്ത സുന്ദരമായ പുലരിയിൽ യോഗികളുടേയും മനസ് നിറഞ്ഞു ഹോട്ടൽ ലീലാ റാവിസിനു മുന്നിലെ ബീച്ചിലായിരുന്നു യോഗാഭ്യാസം. തിരുവനന്തപുരം ശ്രീചിത്രാ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ടിലെ ഡോ. അരുൺ തേജസിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലായിരുന്നു യോഗാഭ്യാസം. കേന്ദ്ര ആയുഷ് മന്ത്രാലയ നിർദേശ പ്രകാരമുള്ള യോഗ ഇനങ്ങളാണ് ഡോ. അരുൺ തേജസ് നയിച്ചത്. ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് ആളുകളുടെ കൂട്ട യോഗ നേരത്തെ ... യോഗ എന്നാല്‍ എന്ത്? എന്താണ് യോഗയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനം. യോഗാ അംബാസഡര്‍ ടൂറിന്റെ ആദ്യ ദിനം യോഗാ വിദഗ്ധര്‍ കോവളം റാവിസില്‍ പ്രതിനിധികളോട് വിശദീകരിച്ചു. ഡോ. ബി ആര്‍ ശര്‍മ്മ  (കൈവല്യധാമ ഗവേഷണ വിഭാഗം )  അസുഖം വരുമ്പോള്‍  ആദ്യം നാം ആശുപത്രികളിലേക്കാണ് പോകുന്നത് അവിടെ രോഗത്തിനുള്ള കൃത്യമായ മരുന്നുകള്‍ ഡോക്ടര്‍മാര്‍  തരും. എന്നാല്‍ രോഗം  പൂര്‍ണമായി നശിപ്പിക്കുക എന്നത് അവിടെ നടക്കുന്നില്ല. ധ്യാനത്തിലൂടെയും വിവിധ ആസനങ്ങള്‍ പരിശീലിക്കുന്നതിലൂടെയും നാം  കണ്ടെത്തുന്നത് നമ്മെത്തന്നെ. ഗീതയില്‍ അര്‍ജ്ജുനന്‍ പറഞ്ഞിട്ടുണ്ട് ‘താമരപ്പൂവിനെപോലെയാവണം നാം ജീവിക്കേണ്ടത്’. കാരണം താമര വളരുന്നത് ചെളി നിറഞ്ഞ വെള്ളത്തിന് മുകളിലാണ് എന്നാല്‍ പൂവിനേയോ ഇലകളെയോ ഒരിക്കലും ആ ചെളി മൂടുകയില്ല. അങ്ങനെയാവണം നാം ഓരോരുത്തവരും ജീവിക്കേണ്ടത്. എല്ലാവരിലേക്കും വെളിച്ചം പകരണം നാം നില്‍ക്കുന്ന ഇടമല്ല നാം പകര്‍ന്ന് നല്‍കുന്ന ഊര്‍ജ്ജത്തിനാണ് പ്രധാനം. ഓരോ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിയും ചെയ്യും മുമ്പ്  ധ്യാനത്തിലേര്‍പ്പെടുന്ന പോലെ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കൂ ഡോ. യോഗി ശിവ: യോഗയ്ക്കാപ്പം ആയോധനകലയും നൃത്തവും നിഷ്ഠയായി ... The Yoga Ambassadors from almost 20 countries have arrived in the Kerala’s state capital, Thiruvananthapuram on June 13. The yoga team was first received by the ATTOI officials from the Trivandrum International airport. On their arrival at The Leela Raviz Kovalam, the delegates were given a traditional welcome by the hotel.

The Yoga Ambassadors has performed some yoga steps before the inaugural event at The Leela Raviz Kovalam in Thiruvananthapuram.

The Yoga Ambassadors has received a grand welcome at The Leela Kovalam on the inaugural day of June 14. The yoga ambassadors were welcomed to the event with ‘Panchavadyam’, the traditional native temple orchestra of Kerala.

ഞാന്‍ കരീറ്റ സ്വദേശം ഫിന്‍ലന്റിലാണ്. കരീറ്റയുടെ നിറഞ്ഞ ചിരിയില്‍ മനസിലാക്കാം കേരളം അവര്‍ക്ക് നല്‍കിയ സന്തോഷത്തിനെക്കുറിച്ച്. യോഗയെക്കുറിച്ചും ജീവിതത്തെക്കുറിച്ചും കരീറ്റ പറയുന്നത്… കഴിഞ്ഞ ഇരുപത് വര്‍ഷമായി ഞാന്‍ യോഗയുമായി ചങ്ങാത്തം കൂടിയിട്ട്. യോഗയെക്കുറിച്ച് എന്നാണ് കേട്ടു തുടങ്ങിയത് കൃത്യമായി എനിക്ക ഓര്‍മ്മയില്ല. എന്നാല്‍ 38 വയസ്സില്‍ എനിക്ക ക്യാന്‍സര്‍ പിടിപ്പെട്ടു മാരകാമായ ബ്രെയിന്‍ ക്യാന്‍സറായിരുന്നു. ഡോക്ടര്‍മാര്‍ ഒരു വര്‍ഷമെന്ന് ആയുസിന് വിധിയെഴുതിയ നാളുകള്‍. ജീവിതത്തില്‍ ഏറ്റവും തകര്‍ന്ന് പോയ ദിവസങ്ങളായിരുന്നു. രോഗം ഭേദമാക്കുന്നതിന് നിരവധി വഴികളെക്കുറിച്ച് ഒരുപാട് പേരോട് അന്വേഷിച്ചു. അങ്ങനെയാണ് ആയുര്‍വേദത്തിനെക്കുറിച്ച് അറിയുന്നത്. ആയുര്‍വേദത്തിലൂടെ യോഗയെക്കുറിച്ച് അറിയുന്നത്. യോഗ നല്‍കുന്ന അനുഭവം തികച്ചും വ്യത്യസ്തമാണ്. എന്റെ രോഗാവസ്ഥയില്‍ ഞാന്‍ നേരിട്ട പ്രധാന വെല്ലുവിളി മനസ്സിന് ബാധിച്ച വിഷാദമായിരുന്നു. യോഗ പരിശീലിക്കുന്നതിലൂടെ ആദ്യം ഞാന്‍ തരണം ചെയ്തത് വിഷാദത്തിനെയാണ്. മനസ്സിന്റെ സന്തോഷം നമ്മളില്‍ പിടിപ്പെടുന്ന പല രോഗങ്ങളേയും അകറ്റും. ആയുര്‍വേദവും യോഗയും എന്നില്‍ പിടിപ്പെട്ട അസുഖത്തിനെ അകറ്റി. പിന്നീട് ഞാന്‍ യോഗയ്ക്കായി ... The first ever yoga tour in the world will commence from tomorrow, 14th June 2018. Yoga masters as ambassoders of their respective countries have started to arrive for the Yoga Ambassadors Tour 2018. Yoga Ambassador’s Tour is all set to begin on June 14th with an aim to propagate Kerala as a global destination. Around 60-plus Yoga professionals from across the world will be a part of the tour.
