ICTT delegates line up in ‘World Tourism Day’ human formation
In a novel initiative, close to 200 delegates at a global meet on travel took a 30-minute breather from the proceedings this forenoon to line up under the sun for a human formation that read ‘World Tourism Day’, bringing into sharp focus the significance of September 27. Air India to launch Delhi-Toronto direct flight in September
Air India will launch the Delhi-Toronto direct flight on the occasion of World Tourism Day on September 27. The airline is also planning to launch a direct flight to Nairobi, Kenya sometime in October. “We will launch Delhi-Toronto non-stop flight from September 27 on the occasion of the World Tourism Day,” said Ashwini Lohani, Chairman & MD, Air India. The new flights will commence shortly from Kolkata, Hyderabad, Kunnoor and Kochi during winter session which starts from October 10. (Source: TOI)

Cultural programmes, part of the Tourism Walk Odisha Tourism has organized a tourism walk and food festival to mark World Tourism Day on 27th September 2018. The Tourism walk that started from Kalinga Stadium has terminated at Utkal Mandap. Ministry for Tourism to offer tourists free Wi-Fi access at castles in Oman
The Ministry of Tourism in Oman has decided to offer free Wi-Fi services on the go at five castles. Through a strategic partnership with “Omantel”, free Wi-Fi services will be installed in five castles. This application is designed with the characteristics and features that will attract tourists.
