A collaboration between Singapore’s Hatten Land, Samsung C&T Corporation – which also operates South Korea’s Everland Resort – and water slides designer Polin Waterparks, Splash World at Harbour City is due for completion by end of 2019 and expected to be opened to the public in the first half of 2020. KJ Alphons, Union Tourism Minister for State said on Monday that the government is planning to launch a campaign for promoting Kumbh Mela across the country with a tag line ‘Chalo Kumbh Chalo’. The campaign may include releasing advertisements at major international airports of the country and organising the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2019 in Varanasi to lure the Pravasi Bharatiya delegates. Mount Rinjani, an active volcanic mountain located at Lombok Island in Indonesia has been recognised as National Geopark by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). “Alhamdulillah (Praise to Allah) I just received the news that the Unesco executive board had recognized Geopark Rinjani as the latest member of its Unesco Global Geopark,” said Chairul Mahsul, Rinjani Geopark General Manager.
