Tourists can tweet their grievences soon
When you are touring in India, and wish to file a complaint, then just tweet your concerns to the Ministry of Tourism. The Ministry of Tourism is planning to launch a Twitter-based grievance redressal mechanism for tourists to file their complaints in real time. The ministry wants to replicate the External Affairs Ministry’s Twitter Seva Service, which was launched in 2016 with an aim to centralise and expedite its grievance redressal mechanism. കുതിരക്കച്ചവടമുണ്ടാകുമെന്ന ആശങ്കയെത്തുടര്‍ന്ന് ബംഗളൂരുവിലെ റിസോര്‍ട്ടില്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞിരുന്ന കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് – ജെഡിഎസ് എംഎല്‍എമാര്‍ക്ക് ധൈര്യമായിട്ട് കേരളത്തിലേക്കെത്താമെന്നും കുതിരക്കച്ചവടം പോലുള്ള പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങള്‍ ഇവിടെയുണ്ടാകില്ലെന്നും മന്ത്രി കടകംപള്ളി സുരേന്ദ്രന്‍. സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ ടൂറിസം മന്ത്രിയെന്ന നിലയില്‍ കര്‍ണാടകയില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള എംഎല്‍മാരെ സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്യാനും അവര്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ട സഹായം നല്‍കാനും ഒരുക്കമാണെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം ട്വിറ്ററില്‍ കുറിച്ചു.
ഉപയോക്താക്കൾ പാസ്‍വേഡ് മാറ്റണമെന്ന് ട്വിറ്റര്‍
ട്വിറ്ററിന്‍റെ ഇന്‍റെണൽ ലോഗിൽ സോഫ്റ്റ്‌വെയർ പിഴവു കണ്ടെത്തിയെന്നും ഉപയോക്താക്കളെല്ലാം പാസ്‌വേര്‍ഡുകള്‍ മാറ്റണമെന്നും ട്വിറ്ററിന്‍റെ മുന്നറിയിപ്പ്. 33 കോടിയിലധികം വരുന്ന ഉപയോകാതാക്കളോടാണ് പാസ്‍വേഡ് മാറ്റാൻ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്. എന്നാല്‍ ഉപയോക്താക്കളുടെ വിവരങ്ങള്‍ ചോര്‍ന്നിട്ടില്ലെന്നും തകരാര്‍ വേഗത്തില്‍ പരിഹരിച്ചുവെന്നും ട്വിറ്റര്‍ ഔദ്യോഗിക ട്വീറ്റിലൂടെ അറിയിച്ചു. മുൻകരുതലിന്‍റെ ഭാഗമായാണു സന്ദേശമെന്നും ട്വിറ്റർ വ്യക്തമാക്കി. എത്ര പാസ്‌വേഡുകളാണു തകർക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നതെന്നു വ്യക്തമായിട്ടില്ല. പുറത്തായിരിക്കുന്ന പാസ്‌വേഡുകളുടെ എണ്ണം സാരമുള്ളതാണെന്നും മാസങ്ങളെടുത്തു മാത്രമേ കണ്ടെത്താൻ കഴിയുകയുള്ളൂവെന്നും ട്വിറ്റർ വക്താക്കളിലൊരാൾ പറഞ്ഞു. ട്വിറ്ററിന്‍റെ ഹാഷിങ് ഫീഡിലാണു പിഴവു കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. ഒരാൾ നൽകുന്ന പാസ്‍വേഡിനെ നമ്പറുകളും അക്ഷരങ്ങളുമാക്കി മാറ്റി സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്ന സംവിധാനമാണ് ഹാഷിങ്.
ട്വിറ്ററിലും ഉപയോക്താക്കളുടെ വിവരങ്ങള്‍ ചോര്‍ന്നു
ഡേറ്റാ ചോർത്തൽ വിവാദത്തിലേക്ക് ട്വിറ്ററും. ബ്രിട്ടിഷ് വിവര വിശകലന സ്ഥാപനമായ കേംബ്രിജ് അനലിറ്റിക്ക ഫെയ്സ്ബുക്കിൽ നിന്നും വിവരങ്ങൾ ശേഖരിച്ചതിനു സമാന രീതിയിലാണ് ട്വിറ്ററിലും വിവരച്ചോർച്ച നടന്നതെന്നാണ് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്. കേംബ്രിജ് സർവകലാശാലയിലെ ഗവേഷകൻ അലക്സാണ്ടർ കോഗൻ വികസിപ്പിച്ച ‘ദിസ് ഈസ് യുവർ ഡിജിറ്റൽ ലൈഫ്’ എന്ന ആപ്പിലൂടെയാണ് കേംബ്രിജ് അനലിറ്റിക്ക വ്യക്തിവിവരങ്ങൾ ചോർത്തിയത്. ഇതേ കോഗൻ സ്ഥാപിച്ച ഗ്ലോബല്‍ സയന്‍സ് റിസര്‍ച് (ജിഎസ്‌ആര്‍) എന്ന സ്ഥാപനം 2015ല്‍ ട്വിറ്ററില്‍ നിന്ന് ഉപയോക്താക്കളുടെ വിവരങ്ങള്‍ വാങ്ങിയിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന് ‘ദ് സൺഡേ ടെലഗ്രാഫ്’ റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്തു. 2014 ഡിസംബര്‍ മുതല്‍ 2015 ഏപ്രില്‍ വരെയുള്ള ട്വീറ്റുകള്‍, യൂസര്‍നെയിം, പ്രൊഫൈൽ ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍, പോസ്റ്റു ചെയ്ത ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍, ലൊക്കേഷന്‍ വിവരങ്ങള്‍ തുടങ്ങിയവയാണ് ചോര്‍ത്തിയത്‌. എത്രപേരുടെ വിവരങ്ങളാണു ജിഎസ്‌ആര്‍ സ്വന്തമാക്കിയതെന്നു വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടില്ല. അതേസമയം ബ്രാൻഡ് റിപ്പോർട്ട്, സർവേ എക്സ്റ്റെൻഡർ ടൂൾസ് തുടങ്ങിയ ആവശ്യങ്ങൾക്കായാണു വിവരങ്ങൾ ശേഖരിച്ചതെന്നും ട്വിറ്റർ നയങ്ങൾ മറികടന്നിട്ടില്ലെന്നും വാദമുണ്ട്. ഉപയോക്താക്കൾ പങ്കിടുന്ന പൊതു അഭിപ്രായങ്ങൾ ശേഖരിക്കാൻ കമ്പനികൾക്കും സംഘടനകൾക്കും ... Air India Twitter account hacked
In a shocking incident, National Carrier Air India’s official Twitter account has been hacked by Turkish cyber crime army “IayyAldAzt” on Thursday midnight. Hackers posted misleading messages in Turkish language that contained flight cancellation tweets. A detailed inquiry was ordered by the senior airline officials in the wake of the current circumstances. “Last minute important announcement. All our flights have been cancelled. From now on, we will fly with Turkish Airlines,” tweeted the hackers. Within no matter of time, the account was restored to normal, said Air India.
