Tourists in Mysore to have double-decker buses for sight seeing
Following the success of the ‘Open Bus’ rides introduced during Dasara celebrations, Karnataka state government has now decided to put double-decker buses in Mysuru. A double-decker bus from the fleet of BMTC in Bengaluru was procured during the Dasara festivities to promote tourism, and take tourists around the city for sight-seeing. This initiative was well-received. This was perhaps the driving force behind the announcement, the stakeholders say. The bus service will be implemented with the fund received under Mahatma Gandhi City Development Plan announced by the Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy. Delhi and Moscow sign agreement for cooperation in tourism
Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi with Sergey Cheremin, Minister of Moscow Delhi government has signed a twin city agreement with Moscow, Russia, on 5th October 2018, for cooperation tourism, transport, education, culture, healthcare, e-governance and environment. Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi and Sergey Cheremin, Minister of Moscow and Head of the Moscow City Department of External Economic and International Relations, has signed the agreements on behalf of the two cities.
