Indian Tourism Industry feels left out yet again in the union budget and terms it disappointing
The tourism and travel industry of India was among the worst-hit industries since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. The industry has pinned great hopes on the union budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on February 1. Soon after the budget presentation, the tourism industry was more or less unanimous in saying that the budget has not lived up to the expectations of the industry. Urgent attention from Government required for Tourism Industry – Kerala High Court
The Central Government Counsel has sought more time to file a statement on the petition filed by Kerala Travel Mart Society and Kerala tour operators against the inaction of the Central government in announcing a financial stimulus package to the travel and tourism sector.
