നിപ വൈറസ് ടൂറിസത്തെ ബാധിച്ചിട്ടില്ല: സംസ്ഥാന ടൂറിസം അഡ്വൈസറി കമ്മിറ്റി
സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഉണ്ടായ നിപാ വൈറസ് ബാധ കേരളത്തിലെ ടൂറിസം മേഖലകളേയും ബാധിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെന്ന് സ്റ്റേറ്റ് ടൂറിസം അഡ്വൈസറി കമ്മിറ്റി. എന്നാല്‍ നിലവിലുള്ള ചെറിയ ആശങ്കകള്‍ മാറ്റാന്‍ നടപടി സ്വീകരിക്കണമെന്ന് യോഗത്തില്‍ ആവശ്യം ഉയര്‍ന്നു. സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് നിപ വൈറസ് ബാധ കണ്ടെത്തിയത് കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലയിലെ പേരാമ്പ്രയില്‍ മാത്രമാണ്. ഇത് ഉണ്ടായ സാഹചര്യത്തില്‍ തന്നെ സര്‍ക്കാരും ആരോഗ്യവകുപ്പും ജാഗ്രത പാലിച്ചതിനാല്‍ വളരെ വേഗത്തില്‍ തന്നെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കാനായതായി യോഗത്തില്‍ സംസ്ഥാന ടൂറിസം മന്ത്രി കടകംപള്ളി സുരേന്ദ്രന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. വൈറസ് ബാധ കണ്ടെത്തിയ പേരാമ്പ്രയില്‍ പോലും നിലവില്‍ ആശങ്കയില്ല. എന്നാല്‍ സോഷ്യല്‍ മീഡിയ വഴി വരുന്ന തെറ്റായ പ്രചരണങ്ങള്‍ ചിലരിലെങ്കിലും ആശങ്കയുണ്ടാക്കിയിട്ടുള്ളതായും മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു. ഈ ആശങ്ക പരിഹരിക്കാന്‍ സര്‍ക്കാരും ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പും മുന്‍കൈയെടുക്കുമെന്നും മന്ത്രി അറിയിച്ചു. നിപ വൈറസ് ബാധ നിയന്ത്രണവിധേയമായതായും, സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് നിലവില്‍ ആരോഗ്യപരമായി കുഴപ്പങ്ങള്‍ ഒന്നും തന്നെയില്ലെന്നും ടൂറിസം സെക്രട്ടറി റാണി ജോര്‍ജ് അറിയിച്ചു. നിലവിലുള്ള ആശങ്കകള്‍ക്ക് പരിഹാരം കാണാന്‍ ടൂറിസംരംഗത്തുളളവര്‍ മുന്‍കൈയെടുക്കണമെന്നും ടൂറിസം ... ഫാം ടൂറിസം പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ ചട്ടങ്ങളില്‍ ഇളവുമായി ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പ്
നഗരങ്ങളിലും, തിരക്കേറിയ വിനോദസഞ്ചാര കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിലും താമസിക്കുന്നതിന് പകരം തിരക്കൊഴിഞ്ഞ തോട്ടങ്ങളിലും കൃഷിഭൂമിയിലും സമയം ചിവലിടുന്ന രീതിയാണ് ഫാം ടൂറിസം. കേരളത്തില്‍ ഫാം ടൂറിസം പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിന് നിലവിലുള്ള ചട്ടങ്ങളില്‍ ഇളവുമായി ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പ്. ഫാം ടൂറിസം പദ്ധതികള്‍ തുടങ്ങുന്നതിന് 50 ഏക്കര്‍ തോട്ടം എന്നതിനെ 15 ഏക്കറായി ചുരുക്കി. കൃഷിഭൂമി 15 ഏക്കര്‍ എന്നതില്‍ നിന്ന് മൂന്ന് ഏക്കര്‍ മതിയെന്നാക്കി. ചട്ടത്തില്‍ ഇളവ് നല്‍കി ഒരു വര്‍ഷത്തിനകം കേരളത്തില്‍ 50 പുതിയ ഫാം ടൂറിസം പദ്ധതികള്‍ക്ക് തുടക്കമിടാനാണ് വകുപ്പ് ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നത്. അടുത്തിടെ നടന്ന ടൂറിസം റോഡ് ഷോകളില്‍ കേരളത്തിലെ ഫാം ടൂറിസം കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളെകുറിച്ച് ഒട്ടേറെ അന്വേഷണങ്ങള്‍ ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഇത് കണക്കിലെടുത്താണ് മന്ത്രി കടകംപള്ളി സുരേന്ദ്രന്റെ നിര്‍ദേശ പ്രകാരം ഗ്രീന്‍ ഫാം പോളിസിയുമായി ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പ് മുന്നിട്ടിറങ്ങുന്നത്. ഉത്തരവാദിത്ത മിഷനായിരിക്കും പദ്ധതിയുടെ ചുമതല.
Kerala beefs up security in tourism destinations
In the wake of the recent death of Latvian tourist in the state, Kerala Tourism Department has decided to strengthen the tourism police force in the state, and is also planning to recruit more women to the force. Kadakampally Surendran, Minister for Tourism, has informed informed this after a meeting held with senior tourism and police officials. കേരളത്തിലെത്തുന്ന വിദേശ–ആഭ്യന്തര-തദ്ദേശീയ വിനോദസഞ്ചാരികളോട് മാന്യതയോടെ പെരുമാറണമെന്നും ഇതിനു വിപരീതമായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവർക്കെതിരേ കർശന നടപടിയുണ്ടാകുമെന്നും ടൂറിസം മന്ത്രി കടകംപള്ളി സുരേന്ദ്രൻ. ഇടുക്കിയിലെ വിവിധ ടൂറിസം പദ്ധതികളുടെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിർവഹിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം. വിനോദസഞ്ചാര മേഖലയിൽ തെറ്റായി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് നിയന്ത്രണം ഏർപ്പെടുത്തും. വിദേശ വനിതയുടെ കൊലപാതകം കേരളത്തിലെ ടൂറിസം മേഖലയ്ക്കു അപമാനമായി. ഇത്തരം സംഭവങ്ങൾ ആവർത്തിക്കാതിരിക്കാൻ ശക്തമായ നടപടികൾ സർക്കാരിന്‍റെ ഭാഗത്തുനിന്നും സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നതിനാണ് ടൂറിസം റെഗുലേറ്ററി കമ്മീഷൻ രൂപീകരിക്കുന്നത്. വിനോദസഞ്ചാര കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിൽ വികസനപ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളും സുരക്ഷയും വർധിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനും ഏകോപിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനും സമിതികൾ രൂപീകരിക്കും. ഉത്തരവാദിത്ത ടൂറിസം എല്ലാ ജില്ലയിലും കാര്യക്ഷമമാക്കും. പ്രാദേശിക ടൂറിസവും ഉത്തരവാദിത്ത ടൂറിസവും പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള നടപടികൾ സ്വീകരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ഇതിനായുള്ള സർവേകൾ നടന്നുവരികയാണെന്നും മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു. ടൂറിസം വികസനത്തിനായി പദ്ധതിയുമായി ആരെങ്കിലും മുന്നോട്ടുവന്നാൽ വിനോദസഞ്ചാര വകുപ്പിൽ നിന്നും പണം അനുവദിക്കും. വണ്ടിപ്പെരിയാർ സത്രം ടൂറിസം പദ്ധതിയുടെ ആദ്യഘട്ട നിർമാണ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളുടെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം മന്ത്രി നിർവഹിച്ചു. ടൂറിസം ഭൂപടത്തില്‍ ഇടം പിടിക്കുന്ന സത്രം ടൂറിസം പദ്ധതിക്ക് തുടക്കംകുറിക്കാൻ അവസരം ... Kerala has unseen marvels hidden in the light of popular destinations which could be developed as tourism hotspots, said Kadakampally Surendran, Minister for Tourism, Govt of Kerala, while inaugurating the Munnar Tourism Partnership Meet 2018 at the Le Maritime Hotel in Kochi. Photo-Courtesy: Praveen-Kattayikonam Kerala State Tourism Minister Kadakampally Surendran inaugurates the Rs. 7 crore historic Madavoorpara tourism project, on the outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram. “Madavoorppara would become a major tourist centre in the district once the Rs. 7 crore development work by Uralungal Labour Cooperative Society completes. The project is expected to be completed in a-year-and-a-half,” says the minister. The 300-ft-high natural wonder at Chenkottukonam would be having cottages, adventure zone, amphitheatre, cafeteria, walkways, and green huts.
