Japanese dance company Moonlight Mobile Theater has come up with a novel way of bringing people back to their avant-garde performances while maintaining social distancing. Japan Airlines (JAL) said it will launch a new non-stop daily service between Tokyo (Narita) and Bengaluru from 2020. With this service, JAL is introducing the first direct flights to Tokyo from  a South Indian city. JAL, which now has direct flights to Tokyo from New Delhi, is planning to operate flights on the Bengaluru-Tokyo route daily. The Tokyo-Bengaluru flight will leave Tokyo at 6:25 pm and reach Bengaluru at 12:05 am (next day). Japan-based All Nippon Airways (ANA) is planning to launch its direct daily flight from Tokyo to Chennai starting from October. “We are focused on building the relationship between India and Japan. For this, ANA is planning to launch its operations from Tokyo to Chennai. Though this is the initial phase of discussion, but if it materialises, it will be a daily flight,” said Suman Billa, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Tourism at the reception of 3rd Meeting of India- Japan Tourism Council.
