Vistara gets govt nod to fly international routes
Vistara has received central government’s approval to launch international flights. Vistara, the joint venture between Tata and Singapore Airlines, is the fifth Indian carrier to ply on international routes. Post the approval, Vistara has sought permission to start operating on Delhi and Colombo route seven days a week. It is believed that Vistara has sought bilateral rights to Sri Lanka and slots from Delhi Airport for the same. The aircraft used for the Delhi-Colombo route would be Airbus A320. Electric cars are set to conquer the Indian roads
The Supreme Court was told that 22 models of electric cars of various vehicle manufacturers would be available in India soon. Major vehicle manufacturers like Tata and Mahindra have been pushing very hard for it. കുതിക്കാനുറച്ച് നെക്സന്; ബുക്കിംഗ് 25000 കവിഞ്ഞു
ടാറ്റ മോട്ടോഴ്സ് പുറത്തിറക്കിയ നെക്സന് വിപണിയില്‍ വന്‍ സ്വീകരണം. കൊപാക്ട് എസ്. യു. വി വിഭാഗത്തില്‍ ഇടംപിടിക്കുന്ന നെക്സന് ഇതുവരെ 25000 ബുക്കിംഗ് ലഭിച്ചു എന്നാണ് നിര്‍മാതാക്കളുടെ അവകാശവാദം. ഇതോടെ ചില കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളില്‍ നെക്സന് ലഭിക്കാന്‍ ആഴ്ചകള്‍ കാത്തിരിക്കേണ്ടി വരും. എക്സ് സെഡ് പ്ലസ്‌, എക്സ് ടി’ എന്നീ മോഡലുകള്‍ക്കാണ് ആവശ്യക്കാരേറെ. ഡല്‍ഹിയില്‍ 9.62 ലക്ഷം രൂപയ്ക്കാണ് ഡീസല്‍ എന്‍ജിനും ഇരട്ട വര്‍ണവുമുള്ള എക്സ് സെഡ് പ്ലസ്‌ ലഭിക്കുക. പ്രധാനമായും യുവാക്കളെ ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടായിരുന്നു ടാറ്റാ മോട്ടോഴ്സ് നെക്സന് അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്. നെക്സന് വാങ്ങാനെത്തുന്നവരില്‍ 65 ശതമാനം ആളുകളും 35 വയസ്സില്‍ താഴെയുള്ളവരാണെന്ന് കമ്പനി ഡീലര്‍മാര്‍ സാക്ഷ്യപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു. ഹര്‍മാനില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള ഇന്‍ഫോടെയ്ന്‍മെന്‍റ് സംവിധാനവും മള്‍ട്ടി ഡ്രൈവ് മോഡും നെക്സന്‍റെ സ്വീകാര്യത വര്‍ധിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. നെക്സന്‍റെയും ഹെക്സയുടേയും മികവില്‍ ജനുവരിയിലെ എസ്.യു.വി വിഭാഗം വില്‍പ്പനയില്‍ 188 ശതമാനം വളര്‍ച്ചയാണ് ടാറ്റാ മോട്ടോഴ്സ് കൈവരിച്ചത്.
റേഞ്ച് റോവര്‍ വേളാര്‍ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ വിപണിയിലെത്തി
ടാറ്റ മോട്ടോഴ്സിന്‍റെ ഉടമസ്ഥതയിലുള്ള ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് ആഡംബര ബ്രാഡായ ജഗ്വാര്‍ ലാന്‍ഡ് റോവറിന്‍റെ പുതിയ സ്പോര്‍ട്സ് യൂട്ടിലിറ്റി വാഹനമായ ‘റേഞ്ച് റോവര്‍ വേളാര്‍’ ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ വില്‍പ്പനക്കെത്തി. 78.83 ലക്ഷം മുതല്‍ 1.38 കോടി രൂപ വരെയാണ് ഡല്‍ഹിയിലെ ഷോറൂം വില. എസ് യു വി വിഭാഗത്തില്‍ മികച്ച അഭിപ്രായം നേടിക്കൊടുക്കാന്‍ റേഞ്ച് റോവര്‍ വേളാറിനു കഴിയുമെന്നാണ് കണക്കുകൂട്ടല്‍. picture courtasy: www.autocarindia.com റേഞ്ച് റോവര്‍ ശ്രേണിയിലെ ഇവോക്കിനും റേഞ്ച് റോവര്‍ സ്പോര്‍ട്ടിനുമിടയിലെ വിടവ് നികത്താനാണ് വോളാര്‍ എത്തുന്നത്. രണ്ടു പെട്രോള്‍ എഞ്ചിനുകള്‍ക്ക് പുറമേ രണ്ടു ഡീസല്‍ എഞ്ചിന്‍ സാധ്യതകളോടെയും റേഞ്ച് റോവര്‍ വോളാര്‍ വില്‍പ്പനക്കുണ്ടാവും. 1999 സി സി എഞ്ചിന്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ഡീസല്‍ പതിപ്പിന് 132 ബി എച് പി കരുത്തും 430 എന്‍ എം ടോര്‍ക്കും ഉണ്ട്. 2993 സി സി എഞ്ചിന്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ഡീസല്‍ പതിപ്പിന് 221 ബി എച് പി കരുത്തും 700 എന്‍ എം ടോര്‍ക്കും ഉണ്ട്. ...
