TAAI, Travel Agents Association of India has called for implementing IT exemption for all travel and tourism-related expenses borne by Indian citizens for the next two years in order to encourage more people to travel and thereby boost the tourism economy of the country which is fighting for survival in covid times. TAAI seeks refund from airlines for the benefit of agents
The Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) on Wednesday said that the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) has informed all airlines to revert back within 24 hours with solutions to refund the various amounts due. MoCA said solutions have to be found to refund agents’ money in float account as advance and provide refunds as cash to agents for the benefit of their customers/passengers. TAAI convention begins in Kunming
The 65th annual convention and exhibition of Travel Agents’ Association of India (TAAI) begins in Kunming, the capital of Yunnan Province of China. If tourism needs to get a boost in the Kashmir valley, it needs to raise civic infrastructure and build institutional framework within tourism industry so that the benefits reach the local economy and help common people. “Limited number of five-star hotels in Kashmir is a lacuna that needs to be overcome. TAAI to host 64th convention at Srinagar
The Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) is planning to conduct the 64th Annual Convention at Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) at Srinagar on 27th March. “The primary focus of this cultural extravaganza is to promote tourism in Jammu and Kashmir and reinforce its position on the tourism map as a major draw for travellers,” said Sunil Kumar, President of TAAI. Azerbaijan Tourism Association (AZTA) and the Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation during the international tourism fair, SATTE 2018 held in Delhi. “This collaboration will boost mutual tourism exchange, as well will contribute to the development of economic relations between the two countries.
