തിരുവനന്തപുരം: കോവളത്ത് മരണമടഞ്ഞ ലാത്വിയന്‍ സ്വദേശി ലിഗ സ്‌ക്രോമാന്റെ മൃതദേഹം നാട്ടിലെത്തിക്കാന്‍ ആവശ്യമായ എല്ലാ സഹായമങ്ങളും സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഏറ്റെടുക്കുമെന്ന് ലിഗയുടെസഹോദരി ഇല്‍സിയെയും ഭര്‍ത്താവ് ആന്‍ഡ്രൂസിനേയും സന്ദര്‍ശിച്ച കേരള ടൂറിസം സെക്രട്ടറി റാണി ജോര്‍ജ് പറഞ്ഞു. കോവളത്ത് മരണമടഞ്ഞ വിദേശ വനിത ലിഗയുടെ സഹോദരി ഇൽസിയെ ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പ് സെക്രട്ടറി റാണി ജോർജ്ജ് ഐ എ എസ് സന്ദർശിക്കുന്നു ലീഗയുടെ മരണത്തില്‍ ടൂറിസം സെക്രട്ടറിഅനുശോചനം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി.തന്റെ സഹോദരിയുടെമൃതദേഹം നാട്ടില്‍ കൊണ്ട് പോകണമെന്ന ഇല്‍സിയുടെ ആവശ്യം എത്രയും വേഗം സാധ്യമാക്കാന്‍ ആവശ്യമായ നടപടികള്‍ സ്വീകരിക്കുമെന്ന് റാണി ജോര്‍ജ് ഉറപ്പു നല്‍കി. മൃതദേഹം നാട്ടില്‍ കൊണ്ട് പോകാനുള്ള ചിലവ്, ബന്ധുക്കളുടെ യാത്ര ചിലവ്, കേരളത്തിലെ താമസ ചിലവ് തുടങ്ങിയവ സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ വഹിക്കുമെന്നും ടൂറിസം സെക്രറട്ടറി ഇല്‍സിയെ അറിയിച്ചു
Kerala reconstitutes Tourism Advisory Committee
Government of Kerala has reconstituted the State Tourism Advisory Committee headed by Kadakampally Surendran, Minister for Tourism, for the period of 2018-2020. The new committee has four new members from Thiruvananthapuram along with the existing 18 members from the Travel and tourism industry in the outgoing committee constituted in 2016. അറേബ്യന്‍ ട്രാവല്‍ മാര്‍ട്ടില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കാന്‍ കേരള ടൂറിസവും
ഈ മാസം 22 മുതല്‍ 25 വരെ ദുബൈയില്‍ നടക്കുന്ന പ്രശസ്തമായ അറേബ്യന്‍ ട്രാവല്‍ മീറ്റില്‍ കേരള ടൂറിസം പങ്കാളികളാകും. അറേബ്യന്‍ മേഖലയില്‍നിന്നുള്ള വിനോദ സഞ്ചാരികളുടെ എണ്ണത്തില്‍ വന്‍തോതിലുള്ള വര്‍ദ്ധനവ് ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടുകൊണ്ടാണ് ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പ് അറേബ്യന്‍ ട്രാവല്‍ മീറ്റില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്നത്. അറേബ്യന്‍ ട്രാവല്‍ മാര്‍ട്ടിനായുള്ള കേരള സംഘത്തെ ടൂറിസം സഹകരണ, ദേവസ്വം വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി കടകംപള്ളി സുരേന്ദ്രന്‍ നയിക്കും. മധ്യപൗരസ്ത്യ മേഖലയില്‍ നിന്ന് കേരളം കാണാനെത്തുന്ന സഞ്ചാരികളുടെ എണ്ണത്തില്‍ വര്‍ദ്ധനവുണ്ടെന്നാണ് ടൂറിസം കണക്കുകള്‍. മുന്‍വര്‍ഷത്തെ അപേക്ഷിച്ച് കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്‍ഷം യു എ ഇ യില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള ടൂറിസ്റ്റുകളുടെ എണ്ണത്തില്‍ 2.64 ശതമാനത്തിന്റെ വളര്‍ച്ചയുണ്ട്. കുവൈറ്റ് (14.33%), ഒമാന്‍ (5.75%) തുടങ്ങി മറ്റു മേഖലകളില്‍നിന്നുള്ള സഞ്ചാരികളുടെ എണ്ണത്തിലും കാര്യമായ വര്‍ദ്ധനവുണ്ട്. അറേബ്യന്‍ ട്രാവല്‍ മാര്‍ട്ടിലെ പങ്കാളിത്തം വഴി കൂടുതല്‍ അറേബ്യന്‍ സഞ്ചാരികളെ കേരളത്തിലേക്ക് ആകര്‍ഷിക്കാനാവും എന്ന കണക്കുകൂട്ടലിലാണ് ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പ്. കേരള ടൂറിസം അഡീഷണല്‍ ഡയറക്ടര്‍ ജാഫര്‍ മാലിക് ഐ എ എസിന്‍റെ ... Kerala Tourism to participate in Arabian Travel Market
With an aim to woo more Arabian tourists to the state, Kerala Tourism will participate in the prestigious Arabian Travel Market, scheduled to be held from April 22 to 25, in Dubai. Kerala Blog Express flagged off
The fifth edition of the much awaited, annual two-week-long bus trip, the Kerala Blog Express, organised by state Tourism Department has been flagged off from Mascot Hotel by Minister for Tourism Kadakampally Surendran. “The two-week journey by ‘Kerala Blog Express’ would cover all the important destinations in Kerala and would conclude the trip in Kochi on 1st April.
