Registration for Amarnath Yatra has been suspended
Online registration for the Amarnath pilgrimage has been suspended due to escalating covid spread. This was informed by Sri Amarnath Temple Board. This is a major setback for pilgrims who have booked their trip earlier. The situation will be assessed and further action will be considered. This time a health certificate is mandatory. No one under the age of 13 or over 75 is allowed on the trip. Bookings for the Baltal and Pahalgam routes started on April 15. The pilgrims will reach Amarnath on June 28 after a journey of 56 days.
