North East Connectivity Summit begins in Arunachal Pradesh
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has inaugurated the 5th North East Connectivity Summit at Tawang, organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). The theme for this year’s summit is ‘Tourism Connectivity’. “North East has unique and distinctive culture.The people are known for great hospitality.The Ministry of tourism wants to advertise it globally and put everything related to North East on the Global Map. Tawang Festival 2018 kick starts in Arunachal Pradesh
Chief Minister Pema Khandu with other guests Arunachal Pradesh’s 6th Tawang Festival, themed ‘Environment and nature’, kick started on Friday, 26th October 2018. Pema Khandu, Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, inaugurated the festival. The festival began with Drekar, a monologue wishing wellbeing to the sentient beings, which was followed by Tashi Choepa, the offering of songs to the gods. Bollywood director Imtiaz Ali to shoot films in Arunachal Pradesh to boost tourism
Bollywood director Imtiaz Ali Saturday expressed interest in Arunachal Pradesh as a location for his future films to promote film tourism in the state.
