Royal Oman Police has simplified the tourist visa procedures to get tourist visa to Oman. “Tourist visa fees has been reduced and visa can be applied online,” said the Inspector General Hussain Bin Muhsin Al Shuraikhi.

ഒമാനില്‍ വിവിധ ജോലികള്‍ക്ക് ഏര്‍പ്പെടുത്തിയ വിസ നിരോധനം ആറു മാസത്തേക്ക്കൂടി നീട്ടി. ഡിസംബര്‍ വരെ വിസ അനുവദിക്കില്ലെന്ന് മാനവവിഭവ മന്ത്രാലയം വ്യക്തമാക്കി. സെയില്‍സ് പ്രമോട്ടര്‍, സെയില്‍സ് റപ്രസെന്‍റെറ്റീവ്, പര്‍ച്ചേഴ്‌സ് റപ്രസെന്‍റെറ്റീവ്, കണ്‍സ്ട്രക്ഷന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയ ജോലികള്‍ക്കുള്ള വിസ നിരോധനനമാണ് തുടരുക. ജൂണ്‍ ഒന്നു മുതല്‍ ആറ് മാസക്കാലത്തേക്ക് കൂടി വിസ അനുവദിക്കില്ലെന്ന് മന്ത്രാലയം അറിയിച്ചു.

The Confederate of Indian Industries (CII) Kerala Chapter is all set to boost up their medical tourism promotions in Gulf countries in coming years. In an initiative to bring up utmost number of tourists to Kerala, many allopathy and ayurveda practitioners came together for a road show and exhibition at Oman in April. Travellers from Russia, China and Iran can now enter the Sultanate of Oman without a pre-entry tourist visa. The move is an extension of new visa policy introduced by Oman in March including the new online application process. By this Oman joined its neighbour UAE in relaxing the visa policies for travellers from Russia and China in the recent years. ദാബിറ ഗവര്‍ണേറ്ററിലെ സുപ്രധാന റോഡ് നിര്‍മാണ പദ്ധതികളിലൊന്നായ ഇബ്രി-യന്‍കല്‍ ഇരട്ടപാത പൂര്‍ത്തീകരണത്തിലേക്ക്. പദ്ധതിയുടെ രണ്ടാം ഘട്ടം അടുത്ത തിങ്കളാഴ്ച്ച ഗതാതഗതത്തിന് തുറന്ന് കൊടുക്കും. ഗതാഗത വാര്‍ത്താവിനിമയ മന്ത്രാലയം അണ്ടര്‍ സെക്രട്ടറി സാലിം ബിന്‍ മുഹമ്മദ് നുഐമിയുടെ രക്ഷകര്‍തൃത്വത്തില്‍ നടക്കുന്ന പരിപാടിയിലാണ് റോഡ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം. മൊത്തം 34 കിലോമീറ്ററാണ് രണ്ടാം ഘട്ടത്തിലുള്ളത്. 4.2 കോടി റിയാലാണ് നിര്‍മാണച്ചെലവ്. ആദ്യഘട്ടം 2016ലാണ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തത്. ക്വാന്‍ ഖബാഷ് റൗണ്ട് എബൗട്ടില്‍ നിന്ന് അല്‍ അരീദ് മേഖല വരെയുള്ള ആദ്യഘട്ടത്തിന് ആറുദശലക്ഷം റിയാലാണ് ചിലവ് വരുന്നത്. മഴ വെള്ളം ഒഴുകിപോകുന്നതിനുള്ള സംവിധാനമടക്കം ആദ്യഘട്ടത്തില്‍ നിര്‍മിച്ചിരുന്നു. റോഡ് പൂര്‍ത്തിയാകുന്നതോടെ ഇബ്രിയില്‍ നിന്ന് യന്‍കലിലേക്കുള്ള യാത്ര സുഗമമാകും. സുഹാര്‍, റുസ്താഖ് ഭാഗങ്ങളിലേക്കുള്ള യാത്രാസമയം ലാഭിക്കാന്‍ ഇതുവഴി സാധിക്കും. റുബുഉല്‍ ഖാലി വഴിയുള്ള സൗദി ഹൈവേ തുറക്കുന്നതോടെ സുഹാര്‍ തുറമുഖത്തേക്കുള്ള കണക്ടിവിറ്റി വര്‍ധിപ്പിക്കുകകൂടി ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടാണ് ഈ റോഡ് നിര്‍മാണ പദ്ധതി യാഥാര്‍ഥ്യമാക്കിയത്.
