Chinese multinational company Fosun International Ltd is planning to expand the business in North America’s tourism and leisure market through acquisitions. Fosun, the parent company of Club Med Sas aims to begin a new product line for China by acquiring travel agencies, resorts, theme parks or anything related to tourism sector. Currently, Fosun and Med receives most of the revenue from Asia and Europe. The firm presence in North America will enhance the tourism portfolio of the company. Asia is known as the powerhouse of aviation market. However, according to new research by flight data provider OAG, three of world’s busiest routes are North American airports. Two of those routes shuttle passengers between United States and Canada. One reason for this high demand maybe Canada is drawing record numbers of international travellers, including those from USA. Or it might be the resurgence of interest in international travel by Canadians after a setback by a weak economy and unfavourable currency exchange rates. നസീര്‍ ഹുസൈന്‍ കിഴക്കേടത്ത് എട്ടു ദ്വീപുകളുടെ സമൂഹമാണ് ഹവായ്.  മിക്കവരും ബീച്ച് തേടി ഒആഹു ദ്വീപിൽ പോകുമ്പോള്‍ ഞാൻ അഗ്നിപർവതങ്ങളെയും ലാവയും തേടി ഹവായ് ദ്വീപിലേക്ക്‌ പോയി. ദ്വീപസമൂഹത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ദ്വീപാണ് ഹവായ്. കേരളത്തിന്‍റെ നാലിൽ ഒന്നുമാത്രം വലുപ്പമുള്ള ഈ ദ്വീപിൽ അഞ്ചു അഗ്നിപർവതങ്ങളുണ്ട്. കനത്ത മഴയിലാണ് കോന ഇന്‍റർനാഷണൽ എയർപോർട്ടിൽ വിമാനമിറങ്ങിയത്. ഒഴുകി ഉറച്ച ലാവയുടെ നടുവിലേക്കാണ് വിമാനം ഇറങ്ങുന്നത്. ആദ്യം അമ്പരപ്പ് തോന്നുമെങ്കിലും ആദ്യ ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ തന്നെ നമുക്ക് മനസ്സിലാകും ഇവിടെയുള്ള എല്ലാം ഒരുതരത്തിൽ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ മറ്റൊരുതരത്തിൽ ലാവയുടെ മുകളിലാണ് കെട്ടിപ്പൊക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. റോഡിലൂടെ കാറിൽ പോകുമ്പോള്‍ സ്റ്റോപ്പ് സൈൻ, മുമ്പില്‍ ലാവ റോഡിനു കുറുകെ ഒഴുകുന്നു. ഞങ്ങൾ എത്തുന്നതിനു മാസങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മുമ്പാണ് പഹോവ ഗ്രാമത്തിലുള്ളവര്‍ക്ക് ലാവ പ്രവാഹത്തിൽ നിന്ന് രക്ഷപെടാൻ മാറി താമസിക്കേണ്ടി വന്നത്. അവിടെ ലാവ ഒഴുകി കടലിൽ വീഴുന്നത് ഒരു കാഴ്ചയാണ്. ഇങ്ങനെ കടലിൽ വീഴുന്ന ലാവ ഉറച്ചാണ് പുതിയ ഭൂപ്രദേശം ഹവായിൽ ഉണ്ടാവുന്നത്. ...
