Many state governments and tourism departments’ try unique ways to promote tourism. However, in an exciting way to promote a route as a destination for tourists, Meghalaya chief minister Conrad K Sangma embarked on a 9km trek on Tuesday from Chandigre village in West Garo Hills to Daribokgre village on the foothills of Nokrek in East Garo Hills.
