Nepal Tourism launches Visit Nepal 2020 campaign in Mumbai

Nepal Tourism Board has formally launched its ‘Visit Nepal 2020’ campaign in Mumbai during the third leg of its four-city roadshow in India and interacted with key outbound agents here. NTB has come up with an ambitious plan to increase the inflow of Indian tourists to Nepal by 30 percent between 2019-20. Nepal to get two new international airports

By 2020, the government plans to operate two new international airports in Pokhara and Lumbini which will help boost tourism from India to Nepal and vice-versa. Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has recently conducted its destination presentation in New Delhi on 8 July at The Park hotel. The event showcased the country’s many tourism offerings, as the Board targets a 25 per cent growth in arrivals from India. Bardia National Park bags Best Sustainable Destination of Asia-Pacific Region award

Bardia Natonal Park is awarded as the best sustainable destination in Asia-Pacific region at the Green Destinations Gala, an initiative that recognizes innovation and good practices in tourism management of destinations. The award ceremony was held on March 6th within the framework of the ITB Berlin 2019 fair in Germany. Nepal plans to double tourist footfalls by 2020

The tourism board of the Nepal Government said it is planning to attract two million tourists to the country by 2020. Nepal registered nearly 25 per cent growth in the number of visitors from India in 2017. The Nepal Tourism registered over two lakh visitors from India that year. The Indian market will continue to be one of the main contributors of international visitors to Nepal. At present, about one million visitors travel to Nepal a year from different countries. Nepal Tourism Board conducts seed camp for budding entrepreneurs

Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) plans to host an event to give budding tourism entrepreneurs an opportunity to strengthen their business idea and gather investment support. ‘The Tourism Udhyami Seed Camp’ will be held in Nepal’s tourism capital, Pokhara, from 30th October to 4th November 2018.
