The Department of Tourism has invited proposals from eligible sports/event management agencies for branding, promoting, marketing and revenue generation activities of the Champions Boat League. The last date of submitting proposals has been extended till 3 pm, February 21, 2019. The selected agency will be responsible for promotional activities for five years. This year’s Nehru Trophy boat race will be on 10th November 2018. Kerala Governor  P Sadasivam will be the chief guest in the event. In order to cheer up the participants and the spectators Kerala’s favourite ISL football team Kerala Blasters will be participating in the boat race. They will wade through the racing track to greet the spectators. To add to the joy of the boat race lovers, south Indian film actor Allu Arjun will also be part of the event.
