മൂന്നാറില്‍ നീല വസന്തം തുടരുന്നു. രാജമലയില്‍ പൂക്കള്‍ കുറഞ്ഞപ്പോള്‍ മറയൂർ, കാന്തല്ലൂർ മലനിരകളിലെത്തുന്ന സഞ്ചാരികൾക്ക് നീല വസന്തമൊരുക്കി കുറിഞ്ഞിപ്പൂക്കൾ. കാന്തല്ലൂർ പഞ്ചായത്തിൽ കുളച്ചി വയൽ ഭ്രമരം സൈറ്റിന് താഴ്ഭാഗത്തായിട്ടാണ് ഇപ്പോൾ കുറിഞ്ഞി പൂത്തുനിൽക്കുന്നത്. വാഹനമിറങ്ങി നൂറുമീറ്റർ മാത്രം നടന്നാൽ ഈ പ്രദേശത്ത് എത്താം. കുളച്ചി വയലിലെ നീല വസന്തത്തെ കാണാൻ തടസ്സവുമില്ല. കാലാവസ്ഥാ വ്യതിയാനം മൂലം നീലക്കുറിഞ്ഞിപ്പൂക്കൾ വിടർന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ അധികകാലം നിലനില്ക്കുന്നില്ല. കാന്തല്ലൂർ പഞ്ചായത്ത് ഓഫീസിന്റെ എതിർവശത്തെ കോൺക്രീറ്റ് റോഡിലൂടെ രണ്ട് കിലോമീറ്റർ പോയാൽ ഭ്രമരം സൈറ്റിലെത്താം. അവിടെയിറങ്ങി 100 മീറ്റർ താഴെക്ക് നടന്നാൽ കുറിഞ്ഞിപ്പൂക്കള്‍ കാണാം.അതുപോലെ, കാന്തല്ലൂരിലെ ഫാമുകളിൽ ഓറഞ്ച് വ്യാപകമായി വിളഞ്ഞ് നില്ക്കുന്നതും കാഴ്ചയാകുകയാണ്. മഞ്ഞ് മൂടിയ മലനിരകളുടെ കാഴ്ചയും ശീതകാല പച്ചക്കറി, പഴവർഗ പാടങ്ങളുടെ കാഴ്ചകളും മനം നിറയ്ക്കും.

നീലക്കുറിഞ്ഞിക്കാലം വൈകില്ല. ഈ മാസം ആദ്യത്തോടെ കുറിഞ്ഞിപ്പൂക്കാലം വരുമെന്നായിരുന്നു കേരളത്തിലെ ടൂറിസം മേഖലയുടെ കണക്കുകൂട്ടൽ. എന്നാൽ അങ്ങിങ്ങു കുറിഞ്ഞികൾ പൂത്തതല്ലാതെ രാജമല മലനിരകൾ നീലപ്പുതപ്പ് അണിഞ്ഞില്ല. ഈ മാസം അവസാനത്തോടെ നീല വസന്തം വരുമെന്നാണ് കരുതുന്നത്. അടുത്തിടെ പെയ്ത കനത്ത മഴയാണ് കുറിഞ്ഞി വിടരുന്നത് വൈകിച്ചത്. കുറിഞ്ഞി വിടരുന്ന കാലത്ത് പ്രതിദിനം പരമാവധി 3500 സഞ്ചാരികളെയെ മൂന്നാറിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിക്കൂ എന്ന് നേരത്തെ തീരുമാനിച്ചിരുന്നു. നീല വസന്തം കാണാൻ നേരത്തെ എത്തിയവർ നിരാശരായി മടങ്ങുകയാണ്. ചിലരൊക്കെ ഇതിനകം നീലക്കുറിഞ്ഞികൾ ഒറ്റപ്പെട്ടു പൂത്തു നിൽക്കുന്ന ഇടങ്ങളിൽ പോയി ആശ്വാസം കണ്ടെത്തുന്നുണ്ട്. നീലക്കുറിഞ്ഞി സീസൺ കണക്കിലെടുത്തു അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യ വികസനത്തിന് ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പ് 1.52 കോടി രൂപ അനുവദിച്ചിരുന്നതായി ടൂറിസം ഡയറക്ടർ പി ബാലകിരൺ പറഞ്ഞു. നാലുമാസത്തെ കുറിഞ്ഞിക്കാലത്തു എട്ടു ലക്ഷത്തോളം സഞ്ചാരികൾ മൂന്നാറിലെത്തുമെന്നാണ് പ്രതീക്ഷ.

The much-awaited Neelakurinji (Strobilanthes Kunthiana) season is almost here in Kerala and the state is expecting over 800,000 travellers to visit the picturesque hill station during July -October 2018 period. The Neelakurinji flowers will blossom after 12 years across the hills of Munnar in Idukki district during these months. Neelakurinji is commonly found across the Western Ghats,and had flourished previously in 2006. Munnar has the largest concentration of the Strobilanthes out of the 46 varieties found in India. ഇടുക്കിയിലെ കുറിഞ്ഞിമല സങ്കേതത്തിന്‍റെ വിസ്തൃതി കുറഞ്ഞത് 3200 ഹെക്ടറായിരിക്കണമെന്ന് മന്ത്രിസഭ തീരുമാനിച്ചു. സങ്കേതത്തിനകത്ത് വരുന്ന പട്ടയപ്രശ്നങ്ങള്‍ പരിഹരിക്കാനും നിയമപരമായി വിസ്തൃതി നിജപ്പെടുത്താനും ഐ.എ.എസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥനെ സെറ്റില്‍മെന്‍റ് ഓഫീസറായി നിയമിക്കും. കുറിഞ്ഞിമല സങ്കേത പ്രദേശത്ത് അക്കേഷ്യ, യൂക്കാലിപ്റ്റസ്, ഗ്രാന്‍റിസ് എന്നിവ നട്ടുവളര്‍ത്തുന്നത് നിരോധിക്കാന്‍ കേരള പ്രൊമോഷന്‍ ഓഫ് ട്രീ ഗ്രോത്ത് ഇന്‍ നോണ്‍ ഫോറസ്റ്റ് ഏരിയാസ് ആക്ട് ഭേദഗതി ചെയ്യും. റവന്യൂ ഭൂമിയില്‍ വനം വകുപ്പ് നേരിട്ട് മരം നട്ടുപിടിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിന് കമ്പനികള്‍ക്കും ഏജന്‍സികള്‍ക്കും പാട്ടം നല്‍കുന്ന രീതി അവസാനിപ്പിക്കും. സങ്കേതത്തില്‍ വരുന്ന വനഭൂമിയും പട്ടയഭൂമിയും ഡ്രോണ്‍ അധിഷ്ഠിത സര്‍വെ സാങ്കേതികവിദ്യ ഉപയോഗിച്ച് തിട്ടപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന നടപടി ജൂണിനു മുമ്പ് പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കും. അങ്ങനെ തിട്ടപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന ഭൂമി വനം വകുപ്പ് ജണ്ടയിട്ട് തിരിക്കും. വട്ടവട, കൊട്ടക്കാമ്പൂര്‍, കാന്തല്ലൂര്‍, മറയൂര്‍, കീഴാന്തൂര്‍ വില്ലേജുകള്‍ ഉള്‍പ്പെടുന്ന അഞ്ചുനാട് പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലെ മുഴുവന്‍ അക്കേഷ്യ, യൂക്കാലിപ്റ്റസ്, ഗ്രാന്‍റിസ് മരങ്ങളും ആറുമാസത്തിനകം പിഴുതു മാറ്റുന്നതിന് കലക്ടര്‍ പദ്ധതി തയ്യാറാക്കും. പട്ടയഭൂമിയില്‍ നില്‍ക്കുന്ന അക്കേഷ്യ, യൂക്കാലിപ്റ്റസ്, ഗ്രാന്‍റിസ് മരങ്ങള്‍ ... Kerala has unseen marvels hidden in the light of popular destinations which could be developed as tourism hotspots, said Kadakampally Surendran, Minister for Tourism, Govt of Kerala, while inaugurating the Munnar Tourism Partnership Meet 2018 at the Le Maritime Hotel in Kochi. He has also urged the tourism stakeholders to take good care to prevent environmental degradation  and preserve Kerala’s rich biodiversity.
