Twelve-point action plan to revive Kerala tourism
Kerala Tourism has put forth a 12-point Action Plan to overcome the crisis in the sector due to the recent floods. The time-bound action plan is aimed at increasing tourist arrivals in the upcoming peak season through aggressive marketing campaign within the country and in source markets of Kerala abroad. “Tourism programmes will not be cancelled in the name of cost control,” said Kadakmpally Surendran, Tourism Minister. Muzuris Paddle 2018 concluded
Muzuris Paddle 2018 a two-day-one-night event conducted by Kerala Tourism and Jellyfish watersports (a Calicut based watersports adventure specialists) has wrapped up at Bolghatty in Ernakulam. photo courtesy:jellyfishwatersports.com 23 kayakers from Kerala, Delhi and Goa followed by two foreign tourists including a 9-year-old boy have participated in the event. Muzuris Paddle 2018 started from Kottupuram Jetty in Kodungalloor with Muziris reaching 40 km prior to the finishing point.
