A port museum is coming up in Alappuzha to pep up tourism
Alappuzha, the Venice of the East, is going to have a port-museum at the beach, depicting the city’s glorious history and heritage. Primary discussions regarding the museum master plan has been conducted at the Alappuzha port office. Ramachandran Kadannappally, Minister for Ports and Museums, inaugurated the function. The meeting was presided by Thomas Issac, Finance Minister of Kerala. The new initiative is part of the comprehensive programmes to make Alappuzha the heritage tourism city of Kerala. യാത്രാദുരിതം കുറയ്ക്കുക, അപകടങ്ങള്‍ ഇല്ലാതാക്കുക തുടങ്ങിയ ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങളോടെ കോഴിക്കോട് നഗരത്തില്‍ മൊബിലിറ്റി ഹബ്ബ് യാഥാര്‍ഥ്യമാവുന്നു. ഇത് സംബന്ധിച്ച് പ്രാഥമിക ആലോചനായോഗം മന്ത്രി എ കെ ശശീന്ദ്രന്റെ അധ്യക്ഷതയില്‍ കോഴിക്കോട് ഗസ്റ്റ് ഹൗസില്‍ നടന്നു. എ പ്രദീപ്കുമാര്‍ എംഎല്‍എ, ട്രാന്‍സ്‌പോര്‍ട്ട് കമീഷണര്‍ കെ പത്മകുമാര്‍, കലക്ടര്‍ യു വി ജോസ് തുടങ്ങിയവര്‍ യോഗത്തില്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു. കഴിഞ്ഞ ബജറ്റ് സമ്മേളനത്തില്‍ ധനമന്ത്രി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച മൊബിലിറ്റി ഹബ്ബ് എത്രയും വേഗം സാധ്യമാക്കുകയാണ് ലക്ഷ്യമെന്ന് മന്ത്രി യോഗത്തില്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. ആലപ്പുഴയിലും കോഴിക്കോടുമായി രണ്ട് മൊബിലിറ്റി ഹബ്ബുകളാണ് സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഒരുങ്ങുന്നത്. കോഴിക്കോടിന് ഇത് അത്യാവശ്യമാണെന്നും മന്ത്രി ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി. കിഫ്ബി ഫണ്ട് ഉപയോഗപ്പെടുത്തിയാണ് മൊബിലിറ്റി ഹബ്ബിന്റെ നിര്‍മാണം. പദ്ധതി സാക്ഷാത്കാരത്തിനുള്ള പ്രാഥമിക നടപടി ക്രമങ്ങള്‍ പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കുന്നതിനായി എ പ്രദീപ്കുമാര്‍ എംഎല്‍എ ചെയര്‍മാനും കലക്ടര്‍ യു വി ജോസ് നോഡല്‍ ഓഫീസറും റീജ്യണല്‍ ടൗണ്‍ പ്ലാനര്‍ കെ വി അബ്ദുള്‍ മാലിക് കണ്‍വീനറുമായി വര്‍ക്കിങ് ഗ്രൂപ്പ് രൂപീകരിച്ചു. മേയ് 12 നകം ...
