Virgin Atlantic to resume London-Mumbai route from October 27
Virgin Atlantic is relaunching flights between London Heathrow and Mumbai, India, with flights on sale from May 28, 2019. The first service is set to commence on October 27, 2019 and will complement the airline’s long-established route between London and Delhi. The daily service will also provide seamless connections via Heathrow between India and the US. The new flights will depart and arrive Heathrow in the morning to align with connecting flows to and from US. The configuration will be 31 Upper Class, 35 Premium, 192 Economy. Etihad increases frequencies to London Heathrow for the busy summer season
Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, will boost its services from Abu Dhabi to London Heathrow during the busy summer period. The additional flights will be operated by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, supplementing the current three daily all-Airbus A380 services between both capital cities. Etihad Airways to increase flights to London during April
Etihad Airways will increase its flights from Abu Dhabi to London Heathrow, from three to up to four daily services, to meet peak demand during the month of April. Etihad Airways has decided to increase frequency to London for the festive season. Effective 15 December 2018 – 13 January 2019, Etihad Airways will increase its flights from Abu Dhabi to London Heathrow, from three to four daily services, to meet peak demand this festive season. Jet Airways to launch Mumbai-Manchester service in November
Jet Airways is all set to introduce the country’s first non-stop service between Mumbai and Manchester effective 05th November, 2018. Jet Airways will deploy a wide body A330-200 with 254 seating for the service, which will now operate five days a week including Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. US and Canada storms into list of World’s busiest air routes
Asia is known as the powerhouse of aviation market. However, according to new research by flight data provider OAG, three of world’s busiest routes are North American airports. Two of those routes shuttle passengers between United States and Canada. One reason for this high demand maybe Canada is drawing record numbers of international travellers, including those from USA. Or it might be the resurgence of interest in international travel by Canadians after a setback by a weak economy and unfavourable currency exchange rates. Etihad, Emirates to curb operations to UK, Asia, Australia
UAE’s two leading international airlines, Emirates and Etihad, have confirmed the temporary reduction and suspension of services to a number of its global destinations during the summer and autumn periods. Emirates is set to reduce its Dubai to Fort Lauderdale and Dubai to Orlando services from daily to five times a week from early July. Emirates is also set to slightly reduce its services to Bangkok, Kuala Lumpar, Phuket, Munich and London Heathrow in the coming months.
