  കുതിരാൻ തുരങ്കത്തിന് മുകളിൽ മണ്ണിടിച്ചിൽ. തുരങ്കത്തിന്റെ സുരക്ഷയിൽ ആശങ്കയുണർന്നു.തുരങ്കത്തിന്റെ കിഴക്കു ഭാഗത്താണ് അപകട ഭീഷണിയുയർത്തി മണ്ണിടിച്ചിൽ തുടരുന്നത്. കനത്ത മഴയിൽ രാവിലെ മുതലായിരുന്നു മണ്ണിടിച്ചിൽ. മണ്ണിടിച്ചിൽ തടയാൻ മുകള്ഭാഗത്തായി കോൺക്രീറ്റ് കെട്ടിയ ഭാഗം തുരങ്കത്തിന് മുകളിലേക്ക് ഇടിഞ്ഞു വീണു. സംഭവത്തെത്തുടർന്ന് ദേശീയപാതാ ഉന്നത ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ സ്ഥലം സന്ദർശിച്ചു സ്ഥിതിഗതി വിലയിരുത്തി. എഡിഎം ലതികയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലും സ്ഥിതി അവലോകനം ചെയ്തു.

Srinagar-Jammu highway reopened on Saturday, 30th June, after remain closed for a day due to landslide and shooting stones caused by heavy rains. Closing of the 300 Km long passage connecting Kashmir to the rest of country adversely affected the traffic, including the Amarnath pilgrimage, which started recently.
