നഷ്ടത്തില്‍ ഓടുന്ന കെഎസ്ആര്‍ടിസിയെ ലാഭത്തിലാക്കാന്‍ പുതുവഴികളുമായി കോര്‍പറേഷന്‍. ഇതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി ‘ഫുഡ് സ്റ്റോപ്’ അനുവദിക്കാനാണ് കെഎസ്ആര്‍സിയുടെ തീരുമാനം. ഇതിനുള്ള കമ്മീഷന്‍ കോര്‍പറേഷന്‍ നേരിട്ടു വാങ്ങും. ഇതിനു താത്പര്യമുള്ള ഹോട്ടലുകളെ കണ്ടെത്തുന്നതിന് കെഎസ്ആര്‍ടിസി ടെന്‍ഡര്‍ വിളിക്കും. ഒരു ബസിന് 500 രൂപ ആദ്യഘട്ടത്തില്‍ തന്നെ ഫുഡ് സ്റ്റോപ് ഫീസ് ആയി കിട്ടുമെന്നാണ് കോര്‍പറേഷന്‍ കണക്കുകൂട്ടന്നത്. നിലവില്‍ കമ്മീഷനായി ദീര്‍ഘദൂര സര്‍വീസ് നടത്തുന്ന കെഎസ്ആര്‍ടിസി ബസുകള്‍ പതിവായി നിര്‍ത്തുന്ന ഹോട്ടലില്‍ നിന്നും ജീവനക്കാര്‍ക്ക് സൗജന്യ ഭക്ഷണമാണ് ലഭിക്കുന്നത്. ഈ പദ്ധതി നേരത്തെ കര്‍ണാടക ട്രാന്‍സ്പോര്‍ട്ട് കോര്‍പറേഷന്‍ നടത്തി വിജയിച്ചതാണ്. ഇതേ തുടര്‍ന്നാണ് കെഎസ്ആര്‍ടിസിയും സമാനമായ ആശയം നടപ്പാക്കാന്‍ ഒരുങ്ങുന്നത്. ഒരു വര്‍ഷത്തെ കാലവധിയില്‍ ടെന്‍ഡര്‍ നല്‍കാനാണ് കെഎസ്ആര്‍ടിസിയുടെ തീരുമാനം.

In the wake of the recent death of Latvian tourist in the state, Kerala Tourism Department has decided to strengthen the tourism police force in the state, and is also planning to recruit more women to the force. Kadakampally Surendran, Minister for Tourism, has informed informed this after a meeting held with senior tourism and police officials. സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് കുപ്പിവെള്ളത്തിന്റെ വില നിയന്ത്രിക്കാന്‍ ഓര്‍ഡിനന്‍സ്. കുപ്പിവെള്ളത്തെ ആവശ്യസാധനങ്ങള്‍ പട്ടികയില്‍പെടുത്തും. ഭക്ഷ്യമന്ത്രി വിളിച്ചുചേര്‍ത്ത യോഗത്തിലാണു തീരുമാനം. കുപ്പിവെള്ളത്തിന്റെ വില ലീറ്ററിന് 20 രൂപവരെ ഉയര്‍ന്നപ്പോഴാണു വ്യാപകമായ പരാതികള്‍ ഭക്ഷ്യവകുപ്പിനു മുന്നിലെത്തിയത്. 10 രൂപയായിരുന്ന വില നിര്‍മാതാക്കള്‍ കുത്തനെ ഉയര്‍ത്തുകയായിരുന്നു ഇന്ധന വില ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ അവശ്യസാധനങ്ങളുടെ വില ഉയര്‍ന്നു എന്നകാരണം പറഞ്ഞാണ് വില ഇരട്ടിപ്പിച്ചത്. അതോടെയാണ് കുപ്പിവെള്ളത്തെ അവശ്യസാധന വില നിയന്ത്രണ നിയമത്തിന്റെ കീഴില്‍കൊണ്ടുവരാന്‍ തീരുമാനിച്ചത്. ഇതിനായി വിജ്ഞാപനം ഇറക്കും. യോഗത്തില്‍ കുപ്പിവെള്ള ഉത്പാദകരുടെ പ്രതിനിധികളും പങ്കെടുത്തിരുന്നു. അവശ്യസാധന വില നിയന്ത്രണ നിയമത്തിന്‍ കീഴിലേക്കു കുപ്പിവെള്ളം കൊണ്ടുവന്നാല്‍, ഉല്‍പാദകര്‍ക്കും വ്യാപാരികള്‍കും തോന്നും പോലെ വിലകൂട്ടാനാവില്ല. അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്താല്‍ അതു കുറ്റകരമായി മാറും. വില നിശ്ചയിക്കുന്നത് സര്‍ക്കാരിന്റെ നിയന്ത്രണത്തിലാകുന്നതോടെ ഈരംഗത്തെ തീവെട്ടിക്കൊള്ള അവസാനിക്കുമെന്നാണു പ്രതീക്ഷ.

ആര്‍ക്കോണം യാഡില്‍ ട്രാക്കിന്റെ വളവു കുറയ്ക്കുന്ന പണികള്‍ നടക്കുന്നതിനാല്‍ കേരളത്തിലേക്കുള്ള വിവിധ ട്രെയിനുകളുടെ റൂട്ടില്‍ ഇന്നും മാറ്റം വരുത്തിയെന്ന് ദക്ഷിണ റെയില്‍വേ. ഇന്നു സര്‍വീസ് നടത്തുന്ന ചില ട്രെയിനുകള്‍ റൂട്ടുമാറ്റി സര്‍വീസ് നടത്തുന്നതിനാല്‍ സ്ഥിരമായി നിര്‍ത്തുന്ന ചില സ്റ്റേഷനുകളില്‍ എത്തില്ല. നാളെ രാവിലെ ചെന്നൈയില്‍ എത്തിച്ചേരേണ്ട ട്രെയിനുകള്‍ റൂട്ടു മാറി അധികദൂരം സഞ്ചരിക്കേണ്ടി വരുന്നതിനാല്‍ വൈകാനും സാധ്യതയുണ്ട്. തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തുനിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുന്ന തിരുവനന്തപുരം-ചെന്നൈ സെന്‍ട്രല്‍ മെയിന്‍ (12624) ജോലാര്‍പേട്ട, കാട്പാടി, തിരുവണ്ണാമലൈ, വില്ലുപുരം, ചെന്നൈ എഗ്മൂര്‍ റൂട്ടില്‍ വഴിതിരിച്ചു വിടും. ആവഡി, പെരുമ്പൂര്‍ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളില്‍ ട്രെയിന്‍ നിര്‍ത്തില്ല. വില്ലുപുരം, താമ്പരം, എഗ്മൂര്‍ സ്റ്റേഷനുകളില്‍ രണ്ടു മിനിറ്റ് സ്റ്റോപ്പുണ്ട്. മംഗളൂരുവില്‍നിന്നു പുറപ്പെടുന്ന മംഗളൂരു-ചെന്നൈ സെന്‍ട്രല്‍ മെയില്‍ (12602) ഈറോഡ്, കരൂര്‍, തിരുച്ചിറപ്പള്ളി, ചെന്നൈ എഗ്മൂര്‍ റൂട്ടില്‍ വഴിതരിച്ചു വിടും. സേലം, ജോലാര്‍പേട്ട്, കാട്പാടി, വാലാജി റോഡ്, ആര്‍ക്കോണം, തിരുവള്ളൂര്‍, പെരമ്പൂര്‍ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളില്‍ നിര്‍ത്തില്ല. വില്ലുപുരം, താമ്പരം, എഗ്മൂര്‍ സ്റ്റേഷനുകളില്‍ രണ്ടു മിനിറ്റ് സ്റ്റോപ്പുണ്ട്. ഗോരഖ്പൂര്‍-തിരുവനന്തപുരം ... The District Tourism Department planning to introduce outdoor sports promotion facilities on the Kozhikode beach. Plans are that a football and volleyball courts to be developed along the beach. There will also be an exclusive track for cycling. The long-awaited ‘neelakurinji’ season is all set to begin from August to November.  Munnar town and nearby areas are preparing to receive the tens of thousands of visitors who would be flocking the hills of Munnar to experience the ‘neelakurinji’ season. As per the official data, around eight lakh visitors are expected in Munnar during the ‘neelakurinji’ season. സംസ്ഥാത്ത് ആദ്യമായി പെട്രോള്‍, ഡീസല്‍ വില എക്കാലത്തേയും ഉയര്‍ന്ന നിരക്കില്‍. തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് പെട്രോള്‍ ലീറ്ററിന് 78.43 രൂപയും ഡീസല്‍ വില 71.29 രൂപയുമായി. മുംബൈയില്‍ ഒരു ലീറ്റര്‍ പെട്രോളിന് 82.35 രൂപയായി. മറ്റു ജില്ലകളിലും പെട്രോള്‍, ഡീസല്‍ വില ഇതിനോടു സമാനമാണ്. 2013 സെപ്റ്റംബര്‍ 13നുശേഷമുള്ള ഉയര്‍ന്ന നിരക്കാണിപ്പോഴുള്ളത്. മാര്‍ച്ച് 17 മുതല്‍ പെട്രോളിന്റെയും ഡീസലിന്റെയും വില ഓരോ ദിവസവും കൂടുകയാണ്. കഴിഞ്ഞ ഒരു മാസത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ ഡീസല്‍ വിലയില്‍ ശരാശരി രണ്ടര രൂപയും പെട്രോള്‍ വിലയില്‍ രണ്ടു രൂപയ്ക്കു മുകളിലുമാണു വര്‍ധന. കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്‍ഷം ജൂണ്‍ 16 മുതലാണ് ഇന്ധന വില ഓരോ ദിവസവും മാറാന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയത്. അന്ന് 68.26, 58.39 രൂപയായിരുന്ന ഇന്ധന വിലയാണ് ഇപ്പോള്‍ ഈ രീതിയില്‍ ഉയര്‍ന്നിരിക്കുന്നത്.
