Jet Airways to operate additional flights from Trivandrum
Jet Airways has announced that it will operate additional flights from Thiruvananthapuram, since the water clogged airport of Kochi is still not suitable for operating normal flights. “We are committed in our support to the people impacted due to #KeralaFloods and sincerely hope the situation stabilises soon”, tweeted the airline. Tourists trapped in Munnar’s Plum Judy Resort rescued
All the tourists including 30 foreign tourists who were trapped following a landslide in the Plum Judy Resort in Munnar are safe, informed Tourism Minister Kadakampally Surendran. The minister has also urged the authorities to shift the tourists from Idukki to a safer place. The minister gave instructions to the resort owners and also spoke to the foreigners who were trapped inside and assured all the possible help from the government.
