പ്രളയത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് പ്രതിസന്ധിയിലായ കേരള ടൂറിസത്തെ പഴയ പ്രതാപത്തിലേക്ക് തിരിച്ചെത്തിക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമങ്ങള്‍ കേരള ടൂറിസം സജീവമാക്കി. ഡല്‍ഹിയില്‍ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ടൂറിസം മാര്‍ട്ടിനെത്തിയ ടൂറിസം മന്ത്രി കടകംപള്ളി സുരേന്ദ്രന്‍, സെക്രട്ടറി റാണി ജോര്‍ജ്, ഡയറക്ടര്‍ പി ബാലകിരണ്‍ എന്നിവര്‍ വാര്‍ത്താ സമ്മേളനം നടത്തി. ഫോറിന്‍ കറസ്പോണ്ടന്‍സ് ക്ലബ്ബിലായിരുന്നു വാര്‍ത്താ സമ്മേളനം. പ്രളയ ശേഷമുള്ള കേരള ടൂറിസത്തിന്‍റെ തിരിച്ചു വരവ് ‘സൂര്യന്‍ തെളിഞ്ഞു’ (സണ്‍ ഈസ്‌ ഔട്ട്‌) എന്ന പവര്‍ പോയിന്‍റ് അവതരണത്തിലൂടെ ടൂറിസം സെക്രട്ടറി റാണി ജോര്‍ജ് നടത്തി. മാധ്യമ പ്രവര്‍ത്തകരുടെ ചോദ്യങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് മന്ത്രി കടകംപള്ളി സുരേന്ദ്രന്‍ മറുപടി നല്‍കി. കടകംപള്ളി സുരേന്ദ്രന്‍, ടൂറിസം മന്ത്രി കേരളത്തിലെ എല്ലാ ടൂറിസം കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളും ഹോട്ടലുകളും സഞ്ചാരികള്‍ക്കായി തുറന്നു കഴിഞ്ഞു. ഒരിടത്തും വൈദ്യുതി തടസമില്ല. ചില വിനോദ സഞ്ചാര കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിലേക്ക് ചില്ലറ ഗതാഗത പ്രശ്നമുണ്ട്. അത് വേഗം പരിഹരിക്കും. ഗവി- വാഗമണ്‍ പാതയില്‍ പ്രശ്നമുണ്ട്.അതും വേഗം തീര്‍ക്കും. നിലവില്‍ കേരളം മുമ്പത്തേത് പോലെ സഞ്ചാരികളെ സ്വീകരിക്കാന്‍ ...   പ്രളയത്തെത്തുടര്‍ന്ന് പ്രതിസന്ധിയിലായ കേരളത്തിലെ വിനോദ സഞ്ചാര മേഖലയ്ക്ക് സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാരിന്‍റെ പിന്തുണ. നിയന്ത്രണങ്ങളുടെ പേരില്‍ ടൂറിസം മേഖലയിലെ പരിപാടികള്‍ ഒഴിവാക്കില്ലന്നു മന്ത്രി കടകംപള്ളി സുരേന്ദ്രന്‍ തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് വാര്‍ത്താ സമ്മേളനത്തില്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. പരിപാടികള്‍ ഒഴിവാക്കുന്നത് കേരളം തകര്‍ന്നെന്ന പ്രതീതിയുണ്ടാക്കും. ഇപ്പോഴും കേരളത്തില്‍ പ്രളയമെന്ന പ്രതീതീയാണ് രാജ്യത്തിനകത്തും പുറത്തും. ഇത് മാറ്റാനുള്ള പ്രചാരണത്തിന് തുടക്കം കുറിക്കുമെന്നും മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു. വരും നാളുകളിലേക്കുള്ള ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പിന്‍റെ കര്‍മപദ്ധതിയും മന്ത്രി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. കര്‍മപദ്ധതികള്‍ ഇവ; തകര്‍ന്ന റോഡുകളുടെ പുനരുദ്ധാരണം ഉടന്‍ ദേശീയ പാതകള്‍, സംസ്ഥാന പാതകള്‍ എന്നിവയടക്കം പ്രധാന ടൂറിസം കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളെ ബന്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്ന റോഡുകളുടെ പുനരുദ്ധാരണം ഉടന്‍ നടത്തും. ടൂറിസം സര്‍വേ കേരളം ടൂറിസം സേവനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് സജ്ജമോ എന്നാരായുന്ന സര്‍വേയുടെ ഫലം ഈ മാസം 15നു പുറത്തുവിടും. ടൂറിസം രംഗത്തെ 90ശതമാനം ഇടങ്ങളും കാര്യങ്ങളും സജ്ജമെന്നാണ് വിവരം.ശേഷിക്കുന്നവയില്‍ എട്ടു ശതമാനം ഒരു മാസത്തിനകവും രണ്ടു ശതമാനം ആറു മാസത്തിനകവും സജ്ജമാകും. കേരള ട്രാവല്‍ മാര്‍ട്ട് കൊച്ചിയില്‍ ... Kerala has faced the worst flooding in over a century that has left more than 400 people dead. Incessant rain since August 8 caused the worst floods and triggered landslides, blocking access to many of the popular destinations and forcing the Kochi International airport to cancel its operations for 14 days. K J Alphons, Minister for Tourism, Govt of India arrives at Vizag for the IATO convention The 34th Annual Convention of Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) kick-starts at Novotel in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The annual convention held from September 6 to 9, 2018, is conducted under the patronage of the Chief Minister N Chandra Babu Naidu. The minister will inaugurate the India Travel Mart at 6 pm at the hotel. The previous two conventions were held in Hyderabad in 1997 and 2003, both were inaugurated by the Chief Minister himself. പ്രളയത്തില്‍ ആഘാതമേറ്റ കേരള ടൂറിസത്തെ കരകയറ്റാന്‍ ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പ് തീവ്രശ്രമം തുടരുന്നു. മന്ത്രി കടകംപള്ളി സുരേന്ദ്രന് മുന്‍നിശ്ചയ പ്രകാരം ട്രാവല്‍ മാര്‍ട്ടുകളില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കാന്‍ അനുമതി ലഭിച്ചു. പ്രളയക്കെടുതി മറികടക്കുന്ന കേരളത്തിലേക്ക് സഞ്ചാരികളെ സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്യാന്‍ ട്രാവല്‍ മാര്‍ട്ടുകള്‍ അവസരമാക്കുമെന്ന് ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പ് വൃത്തങ്ങള്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. ഈ മാസം 20ന് ടോക്കിയോയില്‍ ജപ്പാന്‍ അസോസിയേഷന്‍ ഓഫ് ട്രാവല്‍ ഏജന്റ്സ് (ജെഎടിഎ) സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ടൂറിസം എക്സ്പോ,ഒക്ടോബര്‍ 17 നു സിംഗപ്പൂരില്‍ നടക്കുന്ന ഏഷ്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ട്രാവല്‍ മാര്‍ട്ടായ ഐടിബി ഏഷ്യ,നവംബര്‍ 16നു ഷാംഗ്ഹായില്‍ തുടങ്ങുന്ന ചൈന ഇന്‍റര്‍നാഷണല്‍ ട്രാവല്‍ മാര്‍ട്ട് എന്നിവയില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കാനാണ് മന്ത്രിക്ക് അനുമതി. ചൈന, ജപ്പാന്‍ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളില്‍ കേരള ടൂറിസം അടുത്തിടെ സഞ്ചാരികളെ ആകര്‍ഷിക്കാനുള്ള പ്രചരണം ശക്തമാക്കിയിരുന്നു. കേരളത്തിലേക്ക് ഈ രാജ്യങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് സഞ്ചാരികളെ കൂടുതലായെത്തിക്കാമെന്ന കണക്കുകൂട്ടലിലാണിത്. ടൂറിസം മേഖലയില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന കേരളത്തിലെ നിരവധി വ്യക്തികളും സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളും ഈ ട്രാവല്‍ മാര്‍ട്ടുകളില്‍ പങ്കെടുക്കും

The priority of the government after the floods is to restore and rebuild roads and bridges to the major tourist destinations in Kerala, said Kadakampally Surendran, Minister for Tourism.  The minister was addressing a gathering at ‘Kaithanginoru Kooppukai’ after felicitating tourism/hospitality professionals who were involved in rescue and relief activities during the flood. അൽഫോൺസ് കണ്ണന്താനം കേന്ദ്ര ടൂറിസം മന്ത്രിയായ ശേഷം കേരളത്തിനു വേണ്ടത്ര സഹായം കിട്ടുന്നില്ലെന്ന സംസ്ഥാന ടൂറിസം മന്ത്രി കടകംപള്ളി സുരേന്ദ്രന്റെ ആരോപണത്തിന് മറുപടിയുമായി കണ്ണന്താനം. നടപ്പാക്കാൻ കഴിയുന്ന പദ്ധതികളേ താൻ പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കാറുള്ളൂ. കടകംപള്ളിയുടെ പരാമർശങ്ങൾ എന്തുകൊണ്ടെന്ന് അറിയില്ല. 400 കോടിയുടെ പദ്ധതികൾ ഇതിനകം കേരളത്തിന് നൽകി. ഇതിൽ എത്ര പദ്ധതി പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയെന്നു കടകംപള്ളി പറയണം.ശബരിമല അടക്കമുള്ള പദ്ധതികളുടെ സ്ഥിതിയും പറയണം. താൻ കേരളത്തിന്റെ ടൂറിസം മന്ത്രിയാണ്. ഇന്ത്യയുടെ മന്ത്രിയാണ്. എന്നിട്ടും കേരളത്തെ വഴിവിട്ടു സഹായിച്ചു. പ്രായോഗികമായ നിർദേശങ്ങളാണ് കേരളത്തിൽ നിന്ന് വരേണ്ടത്. ടൂറിസം മന്ത്രാലയത്തിന് 1320 കോടി രൂപ മാത്രമാണ് ബജറ്റ് വിഹിതമെന്നും അൽഫോൺസ് കണ്ണന്താനം പറഞ്ഞു.

All the tourists including 30 foreign tourists who were trapped following a landslide in the Plum Judy Resort in Munnar are safe, informed Tourism Minister Kadakampally Surendran. The minister has also urged the authorities to shift the tourists from Idukki to a safer place. The minister gave instructions to the resort owners and also spoke to the foreigners who were trapped inside and assured all the possible help from the government. The Kerala state Tourism department has announced Rs 25 lakh cash prize for the winners of Champions Boat League tournament. “The boat races in the state will be promoted as a major attraction for International tourists visiting the state,” said Kadakampally Surendran, Minister for Tourism. Kerala Tourism is all set to start the harvest festival of God’s Own Country, Onam celebrations from August 24 onwards.  The department has said that it will ensure than atleast 1000 foreign tourists will participate in the festivities. “The department will ensure that green protocol is observed and there will also be cultural programmes by celebrities and famous artists,” said Kadakampally Surendran, Minister for Tourism.
