Union Ministry considering 15 helipads in the country to promote heli-tourism

Jayant Sinha, Union Minister for State for Aviation said that his ministry was considering introducing 15 helipads at 15 places in the country to promote heli-tourism in the country. The helipads are proposed in hilly areas to exploit the potential tourist destinations in the northern and north-eastern parts of the country where air traffic is not possible by flights. Indian aviation sector will see Rs 1 lakh cr investment in five years

It is reported that the aviation sector in India, currently growing at nearly 28 per cent, will see an investment of close to Rs 1 lakh cr in the next five years for capacity augmentation and development of new greenfield airports, according to Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha. IATA join hands with Civil Aviation ministry

World airline trade association IATA (International Air Transport Association) joins hands with Ministry of Civil Aviation and Rajiv Gandhi National Aviation University(RGNAU), to strengthen human resource possibility over India’s aviation industry.
