Rajasthan tourism marks a remarkable increase in tourist arrival, as in 2017 around 475.27 lakh, tourists visited the state which is higher in number when compared with the previous statistics. Around 16.10 lakhs arrivals, out of the total number were foreign tourists with the other half being domestic tourists. More foreign tourists are getting attracted to the state, which is filled with rich heritage and history in the form of forts, arts, festivals and architecture. മായാദ്വീപില്‍ അകപ്പെട്ട പൈയുടെ കഥ നമുക്കെല്ലാവര്‍ക്കും അറിയാം. പൈയും വയസ്സന്‍ പുലിയും അതിസാഹസികമായാണ് ദ്വീപില്‍ നിന്ന് രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടത്. എന്നാല്‍ 79കാരനായ മൊറാന്‍ഡി ഒറ്റയ്‌ക്കൊരു ദ്വീപില്‍ താമസം തുടങ്ങിയിട്ട് 28 വര്‍ഷമായി. ഇറ്റലിയിലെ മഡാനെ ദ്വീപ് സമൂഹത്തിലെ ബുഡേനി ദ്വീപില്‍ 1989 മുതല്‍ മൊറാന്‍ഡി ഒറ്റയ്ക്കാണ്. പൈയുടെ കഥ പോലെ തന്നെയാണ് മൊറേന്‍ഡിയുടേതും ചെറുകപ്പലിന്റെ എന്‍ജിന്‍ തകരാറായപ്പോളാണ് കോര്‍സികയുടെയും സാര്‍ഡിനിയയുടെയും ഇടയില്‍ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ബുഡേലി ദ്വീപിന്റെ കരയിലേക്ക് ഒഴുകിയെത്തുകയായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം. ആധുനിക സമൂഹത്തില്‍ നിന്നും മൊറാന്‍ഡി മോചിതനായി. ഈ ചെറുകപ്പല്‍ വിറ്റ ശേഷം, ദ്വീപിന്റെ മേല്‍നോട്ടക്കാരന്റെ കുടില്‍ സ്വന്തമാക്കി. പിന്നീട് ഇറ്റലിയിലേക്ക് മൊറാന്‍ഡി തിരികെ പോയില്ല. ’68 കാലത്ത് ഞാന്‍ രാഷ്ട്രീയപ്രവര്‍ത്തകനും കലാപകാരിയുമായിരുന്നു. പിന്നീട് രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തില്‍ നിന്നും ഞാന്‍ വിട്ടു നിന്നു. അനാവശ്യമായ സായുധ പ്രക്ഷോഭങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടിയല്ല എന്റെ ജീവിതമെന്ന് എനിക്ക് മനസ്സിലായി” – പഴയ ജീവിതത്തെ കുറിച്ച് മൊറാന്‍ഡി സിഎന്‍എന്‍ ട്രാവലിനോട് പറഞ്ഞു. അധികാരവും, സമ്പത്തും മോഹിക്കുന്നതും മനുഷ്യനെ മനസിലാക്കാത്തതുമായ ... According to a survey by LinkedIn, famous social networking site dedicated to business and employment-related services, had revealed that Indian’s prefer being happy besides health and money. About 72 per cent Indians in the survey states that being happy is the ultimate achievement of success in their life. Survey also reveals that about 65 per cent of the respondent’s marks having good health, and a healthy work-life balance as the key symbol of success. The fifth edition of the much awaited, annual two-week-long bus trip, the Kerala Blog Express, organised by state Tourism Department has been flagged off from Mascot Hotel by Minister for Tourism Kadakampally Surendran. “The two-week journey by ‘Kerala Blog Express’ would cover all the important destinations in Kerala and would conclude the trip in Kochi on 1st April. Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, Suresh Prabhu inaugurated the 33rd edition of ‘AAHAR 2018’, a 4-day event on International Food and Hospitality at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. The event is organised by India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), in association with Agricultural Processed Food Products Development Authority (APEDA), and Ministry of Food Processing Industries. The Incredible India campaign for 2018 kick starts in Italy with the majestic Taj Mahal adorning the buses in Italy. Italy stood fifteenth considering the percentage share of Foreign Tourist Arrivals (FTAs) in India during December, 2017  with a mere 1.44 per cent. The FTAs availing e-tourist visas from Italy stood at 3.1 per cent in December 2017.

A lion share of the money will be used for restoration and redevelopment projects, making more buildings available for cultural use.
