Clean fuel from national capital
With a vision to curb air pollution and associated health hazards, oil companies have decided to supply clean Euro-4 grade diesel and petrol from 1st April in Delhi. Meanwhile, the move is as part of Supreme Court’s strict order to introduce BS-4 fuels all along the national capital. Indian Oil Corporation runs around 391 petrol pumps in Delhi. “The company is upbeat on the roll out of BS-VI fuels from tomorrow (Sunday) in the NCT (national capital territory). ഫോണ്‍ ഒന്ന് കുത്തി വിളിച്ചാല്‍ എന്തും വീട്ട് പടിക്കല്‍ എത്തും നമ്മുടെ നാട്ടില്‍. ഇനി ഡീസല്‍ എത്താനും ഒരു ഫോണ്‍ കോള്‍ മതി. രാജ്യത്തെ വലിയ പെട്രോള്‍ കമ്പനിയായ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ഓയില്‍ കോര്‍പറേഷനാണ് നൂതന സംരംഭവുമായി രംഗത്ത് എത്തിയത്. തുടക്കത്തില്‍ മഹാരാഷ്ട്ര പുണെ എന്നീ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളില്‍ ആരംഭിച്ച പദ്ധതി വൈകാതെ രാജ്യത്താകെ നടപ്പാക്കും. ടാങ്കറും പമ്പുകളിലെ അതേ മാതൃകയിലുള്ള മീറ്ററുമുള്ള വാഹനമാണ് ഉപയോക്താവ് ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് എത്തുക. ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിലും ദൂരദേശങ്ങളിലുമുള്ള ആളുകള്‍ക്ക് ഇന്ധനം കിട്ടാനുള്ള പ്രയാസം പരിഹരിക്കുകയാണു പദ്ധതി കൊണ്ട് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നതെന്നു ഐഒസി വൃത്തങ്ങള്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. എന്നാല്‍, പമ്പില്‍നിന്നു ലഭിക്കുന്ന അതേ വിലയിലാണോ ഡീസല്‍ ലഭിക്കുക, ഒരാള്‍ക്ക് എത്ര അളവ് കിട്ടും തുടങ്ങിയ കാര്യങ്ങളില്‍ വ്യക്തതയില്ല.
