നവംബര്‍ രണ്ടിലെ ഹൗസ്ബോട്ട് റാലിയ്ക്ക് ആലപ്പുഴ ഒരുങ്ങിക്കഴിഞ്ഞു. ലോക ചരിത്രത്തില്‍ തന്നെ ആദ്യമായ ഹൗസ് ബോട്ട് റാലി ഗിന്നസ് റിക്കോഡ്‌ ബുക്കില്‍ കയറുമെന്ന് ഉറപ്പ്. ടൂറിസം മന്ത്രി കടകംപള്ളി സുരേന്ദ്രന്‍ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്യുന്ന റാലിയില്‍ ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ഓള്‍റൗണ്ടര്‍ കേദാര്‍ ജാദവാകും മുഖ്യാതിഥി. പ്രളയത്തിനു ശേഷം തിരിച്ചു വരവിന്‍റെ പാതയിലുള്ള ആലപ്പുഴയിലെ വിനോദ സഞ്ചാര മേഖലയ്ക്ക് ഊര്‍ജം പകരുക എന്നതാണ് ഹൗസ്ബോട്ട് റാലിയിലൂടെ ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നതെന്ന് സംഘാടകരായ ആലപ്പുഴ ഡിടിപിസിയുടെ സെക്രട്ടറി എം മാലിന്‍ ടൂറിസം ന്യൂസ് ലൈവിനോട് പറഞ്ഞു. പൊതുജനങ്ങള്‍ക്കു ഡിടിപിസിയില്‍ രജിസ്റ്റര്‍ ചെയ്‌താല്‍ സൗജന്യ യാത്ര ചെയ്യാം.. പുന്നമട ഫിനിഷിംഗ് പോയിന്റില് നിന്നു തുടങ്ങി കൈനകരി, ഇരുമ്പനം കായല്‍ ചുറ്റി മൂന്നു മണിക്കൂര്‍ ഹൗസ്ബോട്ട് യാത്ര ചെയ്യാനുള്ള അവസരമാണ് ലഭിക്കുക. ഹൗസ്ബോട്ടുകള്‍ക്ക് പുറമേ ഇവയുടെ ചെറു പതിപ്പായ ശിക്കാര വള്ളങ്ങളും റാലിയില്‍ അണിചേരുമ്പോള്‍ ഇതൊരു അപൂര്‍വ കാഴ്ചാനുഭവം ആകും എന്നതില്‍ തര്‍ക്കമില്ല. രാവിലെ ബൈക്ക് റാലിയും സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. പ്രമുഖര്‍ റാലിയില്‍ അണിചേരും.

ടൂറിസം മേഖലയുടെ തിരിച്ചു വരവ് അറിയിച്ച് നാളെ ആലപ്പുഴയില്‍ നടത്താനിരുന്ന ഹൗസ്ബോട്ട് റാലി മാറ്റി. കനത്ത മഴയുണ്ടാകുമെന്ന കാലാവസ്ഥാ മുന്നറിയിപ്പിനെ തുടര്‍ന്നാണ്‌ തീരുമാനം. പുതിയ തീയതി ഈ മാസം പത്തിന് യോഗം ചേര്‍ന്ന് തീരുമാനിക്കുമെന്ന് ആലപ്പുഴ ഡിടിപിസി സെക്രട്ടറി എം മാലിന്‍ ടൂറിസം ന്യൂസ് ലൈവിനോട് പറഞ്ഞു. പ്രളയാനന്തരം കരുത്തോടെ തിരിച്ചുവരവിനൊരുങ്ങി ആലപ്പുഴയുടെ കായല്‍ത്തീരങ്ങള്‍. ‘ബാക്ക് ടു ബാക്ക്‌വാട്ടേഴ്‌സ്’ എന്ന പേരില്‍ ഒക്ടോബര്‍ അഞ്ചിനാണ് നെഹ്റു ട്രോഫി ഫിനിഷിംഗ് പോയിന്റില് നിന്ന് ബോട്ട് റാലി സംഘടിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ നേരത്തെ തീരുമാനിച്ചിരുന്നത്. ഒക്ടോബര്‍ അഞ്ചിന് രാവിലെ എട്ട് മണിക്ക് ആലപ്പുഴ ബീച്ചില്‍ നിന്ന് സ്ത്രീകള്‍ നയിക്കുന്ന ബൈക്ക് റാലി, ആലപ്പുഴ പ്രളയത്തെ അതിജീവിച്ചതെങ്ങനെ എന്നു വിശദീകരിക്കുന്ന ഫോട്ടോ പ്രദര്‍ശനം എന്നിവയൊക്കെ ഡിടിപിസി ആസൂത്രണം ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. 200 ഹൗസ് ബോട്ടുകള്‍, 100 ശിക്കാര വള്ളങ്ങള്‍, ചെറു വള്ളങ്ങള്‍ എന്നിവ അണിനിരക്കുന്ന റാലി ഇത്തരത്തില്‍ ലോകത്ത് തന്നെ ആദ്യമായിരുന്നു. റാലി നടക്കുന്ന മൂന്ന് മണിക്കൂര്‍ പൊതുജനങ്ങള്‍ക്കു കായല്‍ ...
