Folk art forms of the state to be conserved: Karnataka Chief Minister
In order to conserve the folk art forms of the State, HD Kumaraswamy, Karnataka Chief Minister has directed officers of the Kannada and Culture Department to take steps to resume the Janapada Jatre in the state. Janapada Jatre is a Folklore festival held in the state of Karnataka on weekends. This festival is to showcase the cultural diversity present in Karnataka and encourage the artistes to keep their culture alive. Poland woos Kannada film makers to shoot there
Poland and Karnataka are joining hands for promotion of tourism in Poland. Adam Burakowski, Ambassador of Polund has urged the Karnataka Cehief Minister HD Kumara Swami to ask the film industry to shoot their films in Poland. Burakowski, a big fan of Hindi films and the Kannada super star (late) Rajkumar, said that his country was ready to offer an upfront 30 per cent subsidy of the cost of a movie if Kannada filmmakers shoot their films entirely in Poland.
