Warangal is not just a historic or heritage location anymore. The Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) has come up with a health spa in Warangal. The spa aims at providing healthcare through Ayurvedic procedures. TSTDC in association with the Haritha Hotels and Hitayu Ayurvedic and Physiotherapy Hospital has come up with the idea with an aim to promote medical and wellness tourism in the region. The spa is functioning at the healthcare facility in the Haritha hotel. The spa is also open for the locals. The Telangana state government has constituted Manair River Front Development Corporation Limited for development of the river front along the shores of Lower Manair Dam (LMD) reservoir at Karimnagar. A Haritha hotel and convention centre on the shores of LMD reservoir is also proposed along with the project. The hotel would serve as an added advantage to encourage tourism by providing accommodation facilities.
