Ramayana Circuit is one of the fifteen thematic circuits identified for development under the Swadesh Darshan scheme of Ministry of Tourism. Hampi, Karnataka Karnataka tourism is introducing Augmented Reality (AR) technology in 20 major tourism centers. As pilot projects, AR interventions are already active in heritage sites in the city such as Cubbon Park, Bangalore Palace, Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, Bangalore Fort, Lalbagh and some old structures on MG Road. ഇന്ന് ലോക പൈതൃകദിനം. സ്മാരകങ്ങളുടെയും പാരമ്പര്യ ഇടങ്ങളുടെയും അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര ദിനമായാണ് ലോക പൈതൃക ദിനം യുനസ്കോ ആചരിക്കുന്നത്. ലോകത്തില്‍ സംരക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടേണ്ട ഇടങ്ങള്‍ യുനസ്കോയുടെ ലോക പൈതൃക സമിതിയാണ് കണ്ടെത്തുന്നത്. ഇതുവരെ 167 രാജ്യങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നായി 1073 സ്ഥലങ്ങള്‍ ലോക പൈതൃക പട്ടികയിലുണ്ട്. ഇതില്‍ 36 സ്ഥലങ്ങള്‍ ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ നിന്നുള്ളവയാണ്‌. ഇന്ത്യയിൽ നിന്നും ആദ്യമായി ലോക പൈതൃക പട്ടികയിൽ ഇടം നേടിയത് ആഗ്ര കോട്ട, അജന്ത ഗുഹകൾ എന്നിവയാണ്. പൈതൃകങ്ങളുടെ പുണ്യം അന്വേഷിച്ച് യാത്രചെയ്യുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ പോകാന്‍ പറ്റിയ അഞ്ചിടങ്ങള്‍ പരിചയപ്പെടാം. കാസ് പീഠഭൂമി മഹാരാഷ്ട്രയിലെ സത്താര നഗരത്തിൽ നിന്ന് 24 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെ പശ്ചിമഘട്ട മലനിരകൾക്കു സമീപം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന പീഠഭൂമിയാണ് കാസ് പീഠഭൂമി. 10 ചതുരശ്ര കിലോമീറ്റർ വിസ്തൃതിയിൽ പരന്നുകിടക്കുന്ന ഈ പീഠഭൂമിക്ക് സമുദ്രനിരപ്പിൽ നിന്നും 1200 മീറ്റർ ഉയരമുണ്ട്. ഈ പീഠഭൂമിയിൽ കാണപ്പെടുന്ന കാസ എന്ന മരത്തിന്‍റെ പേരിൽ നിന്നാണ് ‘കാസ് പീഠഭൂമി’ എന്ന പേര് ലഭിച്ചത്. കുറ്റിച്ചെടികളും പുൽവർഗ്ഗ ... Tourism Ministry has asked Bihar to rework on the Ramayana Circuit proposal it had submitted. The State Government of Bihar has submitted the proposal for development of Sitamarhi, Buxar and Darbhanga under Ramayana Circuit. “A presentation on the project was made in the Ministry of Tourism on 13.02.2018 and based on discussion, the State Government has been requested to rework on the project as per scheme guidelines,” informed K J Alphons, Union Minister of State (I/C) for Tourism. Colva Beach, Goa The Ministry of Tourism has identified ten prominent tourist sites for development into iconic tourist destinations in the country. The plan was announced during the Budget Announcements of 2018-19. The ministry has identified the sites based on the criteria of footfall, regional distribution, potential for development and ease of implementation.
