Umrah pilgrims now free to move around Saudi Arabia
The pilgrims visiting Saudi Arabia for Umrah will now be free to visit anywhere in the Kingdom during their stay, the Saudi Cabinet decided on Tuesday. “The Cabinet has decided to exclude people coming to perform Umrah and to visit the Prophet’s Mosque (in Madinah), of the prohibition of movement outside Makkah, Madinah, and Jeddah. A royal decree has been prepared to this effect,” the acting media minister, Issam bin Saeed, said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). Kozhikode airport regains status as embarkation point for Hajj
Karipur Airport has been reinstated as an embarkation point for Hajj, the annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, 2019. It was informed by Alphons KJ, Union Minister of State for Tourism. Earlier, the embarkation point was changed from Kozhikode to Cochin airport following the runway enhancement works in Kozhikode. In a press release on Friday, 26th October, the minister stated that Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Union Minister for Minority Affairs, took the decision following his request to reinstate Kozhikode airport’s status as an embarkation point for Hajj. No visa fees for first-time Hajj & Umrah pilgrims
Saudi Arabia’s king has offered to pay the visa fees for first-time pilgrims to Hajj and Umrah. “The cost of first entry for pilgrims to Umrah and Haj will be covered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman,” said Minister of Haj and Umrah, Mohammed Bin Saleh Bentin. The minister announced the same during a coordination meeting with the Presidency of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques. “Our partnership is aimed at removing all the obstacles that may face the Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and facilitate their arrival to the Two Holy Mosques in Makkah and Madinah,” he told ... ഹജ്ജ് കര്‍മ്മത്തിന് പോകുന്നവരില്‍ നിന്ന് ഈടാക്കുന്ന ഫീസുകള്‍ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു
സൗദി ആഭ്യന്തര തീര്‍ഥാടര്‍ക്കു ഹജ്ജ് സേവനം നല്‍കുന്ന കമ്പനികള്‍ക്ക് ഈടാക്കാന്‍ അനുമതിയുളള നിരക്കുകള്‍ ഹജ്ജ്, ഉംറ മന്ത്രാലയം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. സൗകര്യങ്ങളും കാറ്റഗറിയും പരിഗണിച്ച് വ്യത്യസ്ഥ നിരക്കുകളാണ് മന്ത്രാലയം അംഗീകരിച്ചത്. സൗദിയില്‍ നിന്നു ഹജ്ജ് തീര്‍ഥാടനത്തിന് പോകുന്നവരില്‍ നിന്ന് ഈടാക്കാവുന്ന പരമാവധി സര്‍വീസ് ചാര്‍ജ് 11,905 റിയാലാണ്. ഏറ്റവും കുറഞ്ഞ നിരക്ക് 3,465 റിയാലായും ഹജ്ജ്, ഉംറ മന്ത്രാലയം നിശ്ചയിച്ചു. മിനയിലെ മലമുകളില്‍ നിര്‍മിച്ച ബഹുനില സമുച്ചയങ്ങളില്‍ താമസ സൗകര്യം ആവശ്യമുളളവര്‍ ഉയര്‍ന്ന നിരക്ക് അടക്കണം. ജനറല്‍ കാറ്റഗറിയില്‍ 7561 റിയാല്‍ മുതല്‍ 8166 റിയാല്‍ വരെ ഏഴ് നിരക്കുകളാണ് ഉളളത്. രണ്ടാം കാറ്റഗറിയിലെ ഏറ്റവും കുറഞ്ഞ നിരക്ക് 7,410 റിയാലാണ്. മൂന്നാം കാറ്റഗറിയില്‍ 6,608 റിയാല്‍ മുതല്‍ ആറു തരം നിരക്കുകളാണ് അംഗീകരിച്ചിട്ടുളളത്. ജൂണ്‍ ഒന്നുമുതല്‍ ഇ ട്രാക്കിലൂടെ ആവശ്യമുളള കാറ്റഗറി തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കാന്‍ തീര്‍ഥാടകര്‍ക്ക് അവസരം ലഭിക്കും. ഏറ്റവും കുറഞ്ഞ നിരക്കില്‍ ഹജ്ജ് നിര്‍വഹിക്കുന്നതിന് 10,000 സീറ്റുകളാണ് ഈ വര്‍ഷം ഒരുക്കുന്നതെന്നും ... ഹജ്ജ് വിമാനങ്ങള്‍ ഇത്തവണയും കൊച്ചിയില്‍ നിന്നുതന്നെ
സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഈ വർഷവും ഹജ്ജ് വിമാന സർവീസുകൾ നെടുമ്പാശ്ശേരിയിൽ നിന്നായിരിക്കുമെന്ന് മന്ത്രി ഡോ. കെ.ടി ജലീൽ നിയമസഭയിൽ അറിയിച്ചു. ഹജ്ജ് ക്യാമ്പും അവിടെത്തന്നെയാകും. ഇതുസംബന്ധിച്ച് സിയാൽ എം.ഡിയുമായി ചർച്ചചെയ്ത് ധാരണയിലെത്തി. ഇത്തവണ സിയാലിന്‍റെ അക്കാദമിയിലാണ് ഹാജിമാർക്കുള്ള താമസസൗകര്യം ഒരുക്കുന്നത്. അതേസമയം, ഹജ്ജ് എംബാർക്കേഷൻ പോയന്‍റ് കരിപ്പൂര്‍ വിമാനത്താവളത്തില്‍ പുന സ്ഥാപിക്കുകയാണ് സർക്കാറിന്‍റെ നിലപാടെന്ന് മന്ത്രി അറിയിച്ചു. 70 കഴിഞ്ഞവർക്ക് ഹജ്ജിന് പോകുന്നത്തിന് മുൻഗണന നൽകുന്ന വിഷയം സുപ്രീംകോടതിയുടെ പരിഗണനയിലാണെന്നും മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.
ഹജ്ജ് സബ്സിഡി കേന്ദ്രം നിര്‍ത്തി
ടിഎന്‍എല്‍ ബ്യൂറോ Photo Courtesy: hajcommittee ന്യൂഡല്‍ഹി : ഹജ്ജ് സബ്സിഡി കേന്ദ്ര സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ നിര്‍ത്തലാക്കി. ചില ഏജന്‍സികള്‍ക്ക് മാത്രമാണ് സബ്സിഡി ഗുണം ചെയ്തതെന്ന് കേന്ദ്രമന്ത്രി മുക്താര്‍ അബ്ബാസ് നഖ്‌വി പറഞ്ഞു. ഹജ്ജിനു പോകാന്‍ കപ്പലിലും സൗകര്യം ഒരുക്കുമെന്നും കേന്ദ്രമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു. 2018നകം സബ്സിഡി നിര്‍ത്തലാക്കുമെന്ന് നേരത്തെ കേന്ദ്ര സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഹജ്ജ് സബ്സിഡിക്കായി നീക്കി വെയ്ക്കുന്ന തുക മുസ്ലിം പെണ്‍കുട്ടികളുടെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ പദ്ധതികള്‍ക്ക് വിനിയോഗിക്കും. കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്‍ഷം 450 കോടിയോളം രൂപയാണ് സബ്സിഡിക്കായി നീക്കിവെച്ചത്. സബ്സിഡി ഘട്ടം ഘട്ടമായി നിര്‍ത്തലാക്കാന്‍ നേരത്തെ കേന്ദ്രസര്‍ക്കാരിനോട് സുപ്രീം കോടതി നിര്‍ദ്ദേശിച്ചിരുന്നു. കേന്ദ്ര തീരുമാനം 1.70ലക്ഷം തീര്‍ഥാടകരെ ബാധിക്കും. കേരളത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് പ്രതിവര്‍ഷം പതിനായിരത്തിലധികം പേരാണ് ഹജ്ജിനു പോകുന്നത്.
