Gujarat invites other states to construct ‘state houses’ near Sardar Patel statue

Sardar Vallabhbhai Pattel statue (Photo Courtesy: Indian Express) Vijay Rupani, Chief Minister Gujarat has invited all other states of the country to construct ‘state houses’ at Kevadia Colony, where the 182 meters tall Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel statue, probably world’s tallest statue, is under construction. Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Limited (SSNNL) officials said land has been assigned about land along with the statue for the states to construct guesthouses and canteens same as the different state bhavans in New Delhi. Saputara Monsoon Festival kick started in Gujrat

Renowned Saputara Mnsoon Festival has begun in Gujarat on 4th August 2018, as part of the tourism development programmes of Gujrat Tourism. The festival aims at attracting more tourists to the state during monsoon season. Saputara will adorn like bride during the festival days. There will be cultural programs every day, from 4 PM to 7 PM. Other attractions of the festival are rain dance, cartoon characters to keep kids entertained, lake lighting and fountain at Saputara Lake.
