Germany to make coronavirus tests mandatory for all travellers
Germany has decided to ask all travellers to go through compulsory coronavirus testing before entering the country. “We are checking whether it is legally possible to make someone do a test, because it would be an encroachment on freedom,” Health Minister Jens Spahn told a local radio channel. Compared to the rest of the European countries, Germany has been successful in containing the coronavirus pandemic. Germany may curb travel in select areas to combat coronavirus

Several German officials on Monday said they hope Berlin would soon ease its coronavirus-related travel restrictions so that tourism activities with Turkey could resume. Munich Airport to increase number of flights, as travel restrictions ease
The number of flights on offer from Munich Airport will be increased over the next few weeks. In the past few months, international air travel in particular had come to a virtual standstill on account of the numerous travel restrictions. Now, many airlines are starting to ramp up their operations again, starting June. Germany may lift travel warnings for several European countries, decision likely today
The German government is looking to lift travel warnings for 31 European countries by June 15, if the health situation allows it, the DPA press agency has reported.
