പുകമഞ്ഞില്‍ ശ്വാസംമുട്ടി തലസ്ഥാന നഗരി. കനത്ത പുകമഞ്ഞില്‍ ഡല്‍ഹിയില്‍ അന്തരീക്ഷ മലിനീകരണം രൂക്ഷമായി. നഗരമാകെ ഇരുട്ടു മൂടിയ നിലയിലാണ്. 7.4 ഡിഗ്രി സെല്‍ഷ്യസാണ് ഡല്‍ഹിയിലെ കുറഞ്ഞ താപനില. വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച രാവിലെ 100 ശതമാനം ഈര്‍പ്പം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി. അന്തരീക്ഷ മലിനീകരണം കൂടാനിടയാക്കിയത് ഇതാണ്. picture courtesy: Times of India രാജ്യാന്തര നിലവാരത്തിനു പത്തിരട്ടി അധികമാണ് വായു മലിനീകരണമെന്നാണ് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്. വായു ഗുണനിലവാര സൂചിക (എക്യുഐ) പ്രകാരം രാവിലെ ഒമ്പതിന് 379താണ് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. പൂജ്യത്തിനും 500നും ഇടയിലാണ് എക്യുഐ കണക്കാക്കുന്നത്. ഈ മാസം 23 മുതല്‍ മഴ പെയ്യുന്നതോടെ അന്തരീക്ഷത്തില്‍ കാര്യമായ മാറ്റമുണ്ടാവുമെന്ന് കാലാവസ്ഥാ നിരീക്ഷണ കേന്ദ്രം അറിയിച്ചു. പുകമഞ്ഞിനെത്തുടര്‍ന്ന് ഡല്‍ഹിയില്‍ ഗതാഗതം താറുമാറായി. 38 ട്രെയിനുകള്‍ മണിക്കൂറുകള്‍ വൈകിയാണ് ഓടുന്നത്. 15 ട്രെയിനുകള്‍ റദ്ദാക്കി. ഏഴെണ്ണം പുനക്രമീകരിച്ചു. ഡല്‍ഹിയുടെ സമീപ നഗരങ്ങളായ നോയിഡ, ഗുഡ്ഗാവ്, ഗാസിയാബാദ്, ഫരീദാബാദ് എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലും പുകമഞ്ഞിന്‍റെ പ്രശ്നങ്ങളുണ്ട്. റോഡുകളിലെ പുകമൂടിയതിനാല്‍ അപകട സാധ്യതയുമുണ്ട്.
