Emirates resumes its operations to Zagreb for summer
Emirates has resumed its operations to Zagreb for summer, serving the route until 26 October 2019. Its partner airline, flydubai will then begin to operate during the winter season. The strategic partnership between both airlines ensures capacity is deployed to best serve customer demand. Flight EK 129 will depart Dubai at 8:30 am and arrive in Zagreb at 12:35 pm local time, utilizing a Boeing 777-300ER. UAE airlines cancel flights from Dubai, Abu Dhabi to Pakistan
A number of Emirates flights to/from Pakistan and Afghanistan on 27 and 28 February have been cancelled due to the closure of Pakistani and Afghanistan air space. “We are sorry for any inconvenience caused to our customers. The safety of our passengers and crew is of the utmost importance and will not be compromised,” said the airlines. Dubai Airports has also confirmed that flights to and from Pakistan have been impacted until further notice due to the closure of Pakistani airspace. flydubai begins flights to Kozhikode from Dubai
Dubai-based flydubai has launched its inaugural flight to Kozhikode in Kerala on February 1, 2019. UAE to allow two days stay for transit passengers through Dubai and Abu Dhabi airports
Transit passenger flying to other international destinations will enjoy a short stay over of two days at Dubai and Abu Dhabi without paying any visa fee. United Arab Emirates has decided to grant free transit visas for two days, which can also be extended for up to 96 hours by paying 50 Dirham (nearly Rs 930). The implementation date has not been decided. flydubai has announced the launch of its new Home Check-in service in partnership with DUBZ and dnata and is now available for booking through flydubai.com on new and existing itineraries. Up to six hours ahead of departure, the new doorstep check-in and baggage collection service allows flydubai passengers to check in for their flight and hand over their baggage to dedicated DUBZ staff from the comfort of their home or office. flydubai to resume flights to Sulaimaniyah
flydubai announced that flights to Sulaimaniyah will resume from 10 May 2018. The carrier now operates to five points in Iraq including Baghdad, Basra, Erbil and Najaf. The decision to relaunch the flights was taken following the Iraqi authorities’ announcement that that the airport reopened in March 2018. flydubai is the first carrier from the UAE to operate direct flights to the Kurdish city with a twice a week service from its Dubai hub to Sulaimaniyah International Airport. Emirates and flydubai revealed strong passenger numbers for the first six months of their partnership, illustrating tremendous positive response from customers, and the successful start of the expanded codeshare partnership which was announced in July 2017. Fly Dubai adds new destinations to its network
Dubai’s most recognised airline service provider Fly Dubai has recently added two international destinations to their fleet. The newly added spots are from Thessaloniki in Greece and Aquaba in Jordan. The new flight schedules will come into effect in June 2018.
