നഗരങ്ങളിലും, തിരക്കേറിയ വിനോദസഞ്ചാര കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിലും താമസിക്കുന്നതിന് പകരം തിരക്കൊഴിഞ്ഞ തോട്ടങ്ങളിലും കൃഷിഭൂമിയിലും സമയം ചിവലിടുന്ന രീതിയാണ് ഫാം ടൂറിസം. കേരളത്തില്‍ ഫാം ടൂറിസം പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിന് നിലവിലുള്ള ചട്ടങ്ങളില്‍ ഇളവുമായി ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പ്. ഫാം ടൂറിസം പദ്ധതികള്‍ തുടങ്ങുന്നതിന് 50 ഏക്കര്‍ തോട്ടം എന്നതിനെ 15 ഏക്കറായി ചുരുക്കി. കൃഷിഭൂമി 15 ഏക്കര്‍ എന്നതില്‍ നിന്ന് മൂന്ന് ഏക്കര്‍ മതിയെന്നാക്കി. ചട്ടത്തില്‍ ഇളവ് നല്‍കി ഒരു വര്‍ഷത്തിനകം കേരളത്തില്‍ 50 പുതിയ ഫാം ടൂറിസം പദ്ധതികള്‍ക്ക് തുടക്കമിടാനാണ് വകുപ്പ് ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നത്. അടുത്തിടെ നടന്ന ടൂറിസം റോഡ് ഷോകളില്‍ കേരളത്തിലെ ഫാം ടൂറിസം കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളെകുറിച്ച് ഒട്ടേറെ അന്വേഷണങ്ങള്‍ ലഭിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഇത് കണക്കിലെടുത്താണ് മന്ത്രി കടകംപള്ളി സുരേന്ദ്രന്റെ നിര്‍ദേശ പ്രകാരം ഗ്രീന്‍ ഫാം പോളിസിയുമായി ടൂറിസം വകുപ്പ് മുന്നിട്ടിറങ്ങുന്നത്. ഉത്തരവാദിത്ത മിഷനായിരിക്കും പദ്ധതിയുടെ ചുമതല.

മത്സ്യഫെഡിന്റെ ഉടമസ്ഥതിയിലുള്ള ഞാറയ്ക്കല്‍ ഫിഷ് ഫാം വികസനപാതയില്‍. അതിവേഗം വളരുന്ന ടൂറിസം മേഖലയിലെ ആധുനികവല്‍ക്കരക്കുന്നതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായിട്ടാണ് ഞാറയ്ക്കല്‍ ഫിഷ് ഫാം വികസിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. എക്കോ ടൂറിസം ഫാം ആക്കി മാറ്റുന്നതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി 12 കോടി രൂപയുടെ ചിലവ് വരുന്ന പദ്ധതിയാണ് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് മത്സ്യഫെഡ് മാനേജിങ് ഡയറക്ടര്‍ ലോറന്‍സ് ഹെറാല്‍ഡ് പറഞ്ഞു. ആധുനികവല്‍ക്കരണത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി കൂടുതല്‍ വിനോദസഞ്ചാരികളെ ആകര്‍ഷിക്കുന്നതിനായി മ്യൂസിക്കല്‍ ഫൗണ്ടേഷനും, ജല പ്രദര്‍ശനവും അവതരിപ്പിക്കും. ഫാം കാണാന്‍ എത്തുന്ന സഞ്ചാരികള്‍ക്ക് സ്പീഡ് ബോട്ട് യാത്രയ്‌ക്കൊപ്പം മത്സ്യബന്ധനത്തിനും ഇനി മുതല്‍ അവസരം ഒരുക്കും. വര്‍ധിച്ചു വരുന്ന സഞ്ചാരികളുടെ കണക്ക് അനുസരിച്ച് അടിസ്ഥാന സൗകര്യങ്ങള്‍ കൂട്ടുമെന്ന് എം ഡി പറഞ്ഞു. പത്ത് വര്‍ഷം മുമ്പ് പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം ആരംഭിച്ച ഞാറയ്ക്കല്‍ ഫിഷ് ഫാം ഒരു വര്‍ഷം മുമ്പാണ് പരിസ്ഥി കേന്ദ്രമായി മാറിയത്. കൊച്ചി നഗരത്തിന് നടുവില്‍ വിവിധതരം മത്സ്യങ്ങളെ വളര്‍ത്തുന്നതിനോടൊപ്പം സഞ്ചാരികള്‍ക്ക് ബോട്ടിംഗ്, വാട്ടര്‍ സൈക്ലിങ്, കയാക്കിങ് സംവിധാനങ്ങളും ഇപ്പോള്‍ ഫാമില്‍ ഒരുക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഫിഷ് ഫാമിന്റെ ഭംഗി ... Haryana is planning to launch agri-tourism in the state. The state is also planning to set up 340 ‘Bagawani Villages’ along with collection centres, said Haryana Agriculture Minister O P Dhankar. The minister was talking in connection with 3rd Agri Leadership Summit-2018 to be organised at Mela Ground, Rohtak from March 24 to 26. The government also planning to increase the number of Kisan Bazar to facilitate the farming community in the state. Kerala will focus more on farm tourism, eco, medical, cruise and adventure tourism segments, said Kerala Governor P Sathasivom while addressing the 14th Kerala Assembly today. The government proposes to set up cultural corridors called ‘Natarangu’ in villages and towns where suitable open spaces are available. “There will be amphitheatres where local artistic and cultural performances could be held,” informed the Governor. A new Tourism Regulatory Authority Kerala (TRAK) will be set up to ensure quality services for tourists and curb unhealthy practices in the sector.
