ആഴ്ചയില്‍ ഏഴു ദിവസവും 24 മണിക്കൂറും പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന സേവന കേന്ദ്രവുമായി ദുബായ് റോഡ്സ് ആന്‍ഡ് ട്രാന്‍സ്പോര്‍ട്ട് അതോറിറ്റി (ആര്‍.ടി.എ) . ഇതാദ്യമായാണ് ദുബായില്‍ ഇത്തരത്തില്‍ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ സംരംഭം ഒരുങ്ങുന്നത്. ഉം അല്‍ റമൂലിലെ പുതിയ സ്മാര്‍ട്ട് സെന്റര്‍ ആര്‍.ടി.എ ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ മാതര്‍ അല്‍ തായര്‍ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. സേവനങ്ങള്‍ മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്തുക, പ്രവര്‍ത്തനം കാര്യക്ഷമമാക്കുക , നടപടികള്‍ ലളിതമാക്കുക തുടങ്ങിയ ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങളാണ് പുതിയ സെന്റര്‍ യാഥാര്‍ഥ്യമാക്കുകയെന്ന് മാതര്‍ അല്‍ തായര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. ദുബായിയെ സ്മാര്‍ട്ട് നഗരമാക്കുന്ന പദ്ധതികളുടെ ഭാഗം കൂടിയാണിത്. ജീവനക്കാരില്ലാത്ത സേവനകേന്ദ്രത്തില്‍ രണ്ടു സ്മാര്‍ട്ട് കിയോസ്‌കുകളാണുള്ളത്. വാഹനങ്ങളുടെയും, ഡ്രൈവര്‍മാരുടെയും ലൈസന്‍സ് സംബന്ധമായ സേവനങ്ങള്‍, എന്‍.ഒ.സി. സേവനങ്ങള്‍ എന്നിവ ഇത് വഴി ലഭ്യമാക്കാം. സാലിക് റീചാര്‍ജ് ചെയ്യാനും , പാര്‍ക്കിങ് കാര്‍ഡുകള്‍ പുതുക്കാനും സാധിക്കും. ഇത് കൂടാതെ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ആര്‍.ടി.എ. യുമായുള്ള ഇടപാടുകള്‍ പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കാന്‍ കംപ്യൂട്ടര്‍ അടക്കുമുള്ള സൗകര്യങ്ങളും ഇവിടെ സജ്ജീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. 2014 -ലാണ് സെല്ഫ് സര്‍വീസ് കിയോസ്‌കുകള്‍ സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നത്. ഇതിനകം 16,000ലധികം ... Dubai to introduce digital number plates
Dubai Drivers will soon be driving vehicles which flashes digital number plates. The trial-run for the same is expected to be kick-started in May. The vehicles will be fitted with smart plates with digital screens, GPS and transmitters, reports BBC. The new plates will be able to inform emergency services if a driver has an accident. The technology is reported to be helping the drivers in contacting the police and ambulance services if the vehicle is involved in a collision. Dubai’s RTA launches Naqel buses to ferry passengers heading to neighbouring Emirates
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has launched Naqel Service allowing buses owned by passenger transport companies and licensed in the Emirate to lift passengers arriving in Dubai for returning them to other Emirates. 316 ബസുകള്‍ കൂടി വാങ്ങി ദുബൈ ആര്‍ ടി എ
പൊതുഗതാഗത ശൃംഖല വിപുലപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിനായി ദുബായ് റോഡ്സ് ആന്‍ഡ് ട്രാന്‍സ്പോര്‍ട്ട് അതോറിറ്റി 316 പുതിയ ബസുകള്‍ കൂടി വാങ്ങുന്നു. 465 ദശലക്ഷം ദിര്‍ഹമാണ് ഇതിനായി ചെലവിടുന്നത്. പരിസ്ഥിതി സൗഹൃദമായ യൂറോപ്യന്‍ എമിഷന്‍ സ്റ്റാന്‍ഡേര്‍ഡ് സര്‍ട്ടിഫിക്കേഷനുള്ള യൂറോ അഞ്ച്, ആറ് സാങ്കേതിക വിദ്യകളോടെയും അത്യാധുനിക സൗകര്യങ്ങളോടെയുമുള്ള കോച്ചുകളായിരിക്കും ഇവ. അടുത്ത വര്‍ഷത്തോടെ എല്ലാ ബസുകളും എത്തിച്ചേരും. ഇതോടെ 2019-ല്‍ ദുബായ് ആര്‍.ടി.എ.യുടെ ബസുകളുടെ എണ്ണം 2085 ആയി വര്‍ധിക്കും. ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ മത്തര്‍ അല്‍ തായറുടെ അധ്യക്ഷതയില്‍ ചേര്‍ന്ന ആര്‍.ടി.എ.യുടെ ഡയറക്ടര്‍ ബോര്‍ഡ് യോഗമാണ് ഈ തീരുമാനമെടുത്തത്. പുതുതായി വാങ്ങുന്ന ബസുകളില്‍ 143 എണ്ണം ഡീലക്സ് ഇന്റര്‍സിറ്റി കോച്ചുകളായിരിക്കും. 79 ഡബിള്‍ ഡെക്കര്‍ ബസുകളും 94 എണ്ണം ഇടത്തരം ബസുകളുമായിരിക്കും. ലോകനിലവാരത്തിലുള്ള പൊതുഗതാഗതം ദുബായിലും സജ്ജമാക്കുക എന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെയാണ് പുതിയ ബസുകള്‍ വാങ്ങാനുള്ള തീരുമാനമെന്ന് ചെയര്‍മാന്‍ അല്‍ തായര്‍ വിശദീകരിച്ചു. 2030 ആവുമ്പോഴേക്കും ദുബായിലെ വാഹനഗതാഗതത്തിലെ മുപ്പത് ശതമാനവും പൊതുസംവിധാനത്തിലാക്കി മാറ്റുക എന്ന ലക്ഷ്യത്തോടെയാണ് ഈ ... Smart pedestrian signals in 15 new locations
The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has widened the scope of the Smart Pedestrian Signals Project in Dubai to cover 15 new locations after a successful trail debut on Al Saadah Street. The project is part of RTA’s efforts to realize the objectives of the Smart City initiative.
