EME of the Indian Army on way to Guinness World Record
Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers of the Indian Army has undertaken a unique Ultra Cycling Expedition as part of its Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The Expedition was flagged off on 15 Aug 2018 from Secunderabad and will cover a distance of 25,000 kilometres across the country passing through all states, attempting at creating the Guinness World Record of most extended distance cycling through the country. Kashmir to Kanyakumari on bicycle to promote tourism
Vivek Lokur Vivek Lokur, a cyclist from Maharashtra has set off for an expedition on Tuesday, 25th September 2018, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari to spread a positive message about Kashmir among tourists in the country. The event was flagged off by Tasaduq Jeelani, Tourism Director of Kashmir. “Vivek will work as an ambassador of Kashmir and spread the message that Kashmir is a safe place for travellers,” said Jeelani “We welcome such sports enthusiasts here and will provide them all assistance so as to facilitate their expeditions,” he added.
