The contest is aimed to popularize the tourism destination that is slowly evolving as one of the best international tourist destinations of Kerala. The Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan, has inaugurated the one-month long Jatayu Carnival at Chadayamangalam in Kollam. “Jatayu Earth’s Centre has the potential to be the most popular destination,” said the chief minister after inaugurating the Carnival. “The Earth’s Centre area is very pleasant and can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Yoga centre, Ayurveda centre, adventure tourism and the state of the art cable car system are all of international standard,” he said. Jatayu Earth Centre will be open to public from today onwards, said a press statement issued by the authorities. The ticket charge per person is Rs. 400. The tickets are being booked through the website www.jatayuearthscenter.com. “There is a great response to online ticket booking,” said the statement. The entry to the Earth Centre is only through online booking so as to restrict the crowd. Jatayu Nature Park is one of the most anticipated tourism projects in Kerala. The park began its partial operation as the Adventure Rock Hill was opened in December 2017.
